Poor, intermittent internet access

Underwhelmed. very poor standard of facilities in unit 10 apartment. Various rubbish behind the couch / bedside table etc. Lack of cutlery and badly equipped kitchen utensils. Only good thing was location - bedrooms upstairs (16 stairs ) bathroom down stairs. ..crazy floor plan.never again!

The bathroom is well lit and room was clean but basic. Wi-Fi was included in the price but we didn't use it due to its current vulnerabilities with KRACK. There was no complimentary continental breakfast as suggested by Agoda, the site we used to book.

Was looking for a place clise to the showgrounds. Alexander Motor Inn fitted the bill. There is a tram line out the frony and the Craigieburn - Melbourne line is a quick 5 min walk away. The room we had faced Mt Alexander Rd, which can be busy during the day, but relatively quiet at night. The room had a qs bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom was quite neat and tidy. Shower was clean, complimentary shower gel and soaps provided. Reasonable level of tea/coffee supplies and room had a toaster. Sleeping area is separated from the bathroom and entry foyer by a door. The room was clean, carpet clean. No odours or bad smells. Only draw back was a box room aircon, rather than a split system, which was a bit noisy. The motel appeared to be fully booked for the night, but no noise from the other rooms was heard at time of writing. All in all, would recommend to others

Reasonably roomy and comfortable studio apartment. Reasonably clean but obviously carelessly cleaned. Wifi did not work. Phone did not work. Very VERY noisy old style aircon in bedroom made the whole place vibrate. Noisy vibrating refrigerator. Minimal crockery. Promptly serviced daily. Right on the tram line.

The Best Western offers affordable accommodation in a suburban area with close proximity to a tram and train station to the CBD. Our first room reeked of smoke and pungent chemicals however, the staff were happy to move us to another room on request. Beds are comfortable with multiple heat pumps and TVs present covering each bedroom. Free WiFi is provided in addition to a microwave and fridge. Parking is provided and front counter staff are friendly. Our second room was a marked improvement particularly in shower nozzle and room size. Potential residents should be aware of this.

Firstly I'm not sure why the lady at the front desk is employed there. She must own it. So rude! Her demeanour is extremely sarcastic! She argued with myself and my boss over something that she was wrong about like a child.
Next, she took our cards and copied them. ( though I can't prove it yet) I'm sure someone has used my card for a purchase as it's the only time my card was out of my sight the whole trip.
The rooms were below average with my bosses room having almost no lighting and unclean room.
We were appalled at these rooms. Luckily we were at a conference both days for 8hours plus each day and too tired to complain.
What can I say? If you don't expect much you'll be ok.response / report this review -

Simple room, clean apart from a corner above the air conditioning unit that had a large cob Web with a large number of dead bugs in it

Just needed a place to sleep. Convenient location as I was visiting someone in Essendon. The room and bathroom were clean EXCEPT for hairs on the bathroom floor & shower and in the sink. I'm by no means a princess, but hairs really gross me out.
