Great rooms in the middle of the city. Seemed busy in the restaurant during lunch though I didn’t get the chance to eat there. Breakfast not very generous. Easy location.

Good service, very nice rooms and bedding, thermostat is in the closet?!? Who puts it there?

Rooftop pool is nice, has a great view, but only a few loungers up there.

Room had a full kitchen and laundry, great size and decor. Only issues were the doors let through so much light I could almost read at night, and also noise from the hallway. The shower didn't contain the water so I have the dreadded fate of stepping out onto a cold wet floor. Otherwise fantastic "apartment-esc" hotel room

Enjoyed my time at the Mantra 2 Bond Street. The bed was to die for, having an 11am check out time was a blessing. The staff were very competant and the rooms clean. They have a gym and a heated pool/spa, which are on the roof with views of the city around them. Will definitley be staying here again.

The service and quality of the rooms were amazing. A great set up. So close to the main part of the city.

Room size good, house keeping adequate, location great. Internet plan 1gb a day needs focus. No reason it should be capped these days. In excess of 5 stays for work reasons.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect, but the service was very disappointing. We spent there 3 nights and twice they forgot to redo our room, and when we asked to make it they told us that was too late and was not possible anymore.
Breakfast was good but not included.

The first time I stayed here the room was great. Nice size, a fantastic view and nice and quiet. The second time I had a not so great experience. Slightly smaller room, view of a brick wall and a lot of noise from George St plus the washing machine took about half an hour to fill with water. WiFi is fine, location is great. I would stay here again but will be requesting a room higher up in the hotel.

Poor. Couple problems after a long day.

    1. No instructions to log into room. Internet didn't work and the solution was to call the front desk and was diverted to IT where it still was unavailable.
    2. The remote to the bedroom was broken and only allowed 2 buttons to work which were On & Off. Preset channel set prior to arrival was a radio station. Was advised it would be fixed the next day.
    3. Nothing was convenient. After asking for assistance on the remote and internet they sent someone up, but no robe could be found. Things generally not where one would think they would be.

Staff answered the phone but generally was unable to help (not fault by the individual but probably by lack of support or training from management).

Had an executive suite and just wasn't near my expectations.

Hotel was attractive but apartments clearly not checked properly with our first having the air conditioner break. They did move us but the second second had broken and missing lights in the kitchen and the extractor fan. Reception desk staff useless for even simple requests and are unwelcoming.

Awful! Terrible! Worst stay ever! Its 2:30am and I am sitting on the toilet typing this review. It is impossible to sleep because of road resurfacing along George Street. This is in preparation for the new tramway. Jack-hammering. Grinding. Grading! This will be going on all through 2017. Stay away at all costs. And dont be fooled by their website into thinking the rooms have been refurbished. This is not true. This place is tired. Black mould through the shower for example. They must be paying people for the reviews online.

Service was fine despite small breakfast issue quickly resolved as dining area is small and seems as though there will be a wait during busy periods. Room was comfortable with no view but did not mind. Chaise of lounge was on wrong side for layout of room and can be difficult to get past. Didn't appear as though it could be swapped around. Location was great, close to trains.

Very friendly staff. Fantastic location (although adjacent to light rail construction at the moment). Within very short walk of Wynyard train station which affords a 15 minute direct train trip to and from both domestic and international airport terminals (1/3 of the cost of a taxi, a 1/3 of the time of a taxi - a win-win). Walking distance to Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Opposite Australia Square which has a food court for easy lunchtime meals. Fantastic room sizes.

Perfect location; short walk to the train station. One stop from Circular Quay. Get a travel pass: can be used for train and ferry. Take the ferry in the evening just to see the city lights. So much within walking distance; also next to a food court and nearby Coles Grocery. We had a spacious, lovely studio--much better choice than a hotel room. Highly recommend!
