Today I was assisted by Josh and Shane from Man with a Van. Both were extremely quick, efficient and caring with goods.
We moved a two bedroom apartment quicker (or would have been, but I made a clerical error on booking a lift…) and would have been under quote.
They understood any pitfalls a move between apartments can be, and pre-empted them.

Experience and professionalism shows, and I would highly recommend them to family and friends in the future!

Very impressed by the work of Man With A Van. Moved house and the two movers did a great job. They communicated clearly, were timely and were very friendly. I first used Man With A Van back in 2005 when I had very few belongings to move, and most recently utilised their services for a much larger move in 2022.

I am so impressed to see that Man With A Van is a company that has grown and expanded without sacrificing their dedication to an individually-tailored moving service and exceptional customer support. If anything, they have only gotten better at what they do.

What a great investment this was! I decided that I would throw money at this problem as I was just too time poor to move house this time around. I went with MWV because they are local and I remember seeing them move other apartments in my building and they looked professional. From the estimate state through to the day itself they were all over it, understanding, engaging, and friendly. They moved all my furniture down elevators, through the rain and into a confined storage cage without a single tear in the bubble wrap! Just a word of warning to anyone considering them. Job estimates are just that, estimates. My job was simple but I neglected to detail the size of a few pieces of furniture and this cost me extra time, adding to this was parking issues here in Richmond which also added time. So my bill was a bit spicier than expected. But you know what? You can’t put a price on your back! And the headache they saved me was worth double what I paid. I will definitely use them again.

I was very stressed out about having to move out on my own especially during quarantine, but Man with a Van made the whole move so stress-free and easy! Dave and Alan were efficient and friendly. Both were really professional and careful with all of my belongings. It was also really easy to get in touch when I had questions or updates. Highly recommend them for anyone who's looking for reliable movers!

I've used Man With a Van twice, once in 2018 and more recently in July 2020. They service was exceptional the first time around and they looked after the whole job for us without much of a headache. It was a difficult job too having to content with a single lift apartment block at the pick up point and a narrow staircase on a townhouse at the destination.
Our most recent experience however was comparatively not up the same standard. The team left a few scuff marks on our furniture and destination property.

The processes they have in place are perfect. From requesting a quote to the actual move day. The smallest size van was larger than expected which was a win. The removalists were very accommodating and worked around my needs. Highly recommend Man with a Van for any type of move.

5 star movers! I’ve had the pleasure of having ‘The Man’ (or should that be The Men) complete three moves for me over the years, including my office relocation today, and I’ve always been delighted. From the first communication to the completion of the job, everyone is fantastic to deal with from communication, professionalism, coordination and generally making the process stress free. I had such a fantastic experience with Laurence and Darcey today! Both of them met me with a smile and put my moving worries at ease. Their happy demeanours and easy going nature instantly made me feel less stressed. While moving my furniture they were efficient, quick, careful and easy to work with. Overall best guys to get the job done. Could not fault them at all, and I will be back after this fantastic experience. Thanks heaps!

I highly recommend these removals. They are efficient, clean and reliable. Well priced. The 2 men we had were genuinely willing to assist and great to deal with.

Heard the boss on 3AW months ago. Staff very helpful in providing the quote and arranging the booking. The reminder email the day before the booking - a good touch.
The two young men were polite, friendly and very hard working. They went above and beyond to help.. They quoted 6 hours but were done in five.
My highest recommendation to everyone who may be moving.

I booked these guys for moving my 4BR house. Bret and Matt were here right on time and did an amazing job. Very professional, finished it on time. The furniture that I have is pretty bulky, and they managed it all pretty well. Would definitely recommend these guys for the move.

Despite the good reviews, I think their website is a lot of false advertising about their actual prices. They told me my job would take 3 times as long as it would, and charged a fortune for it. Then they tried to negotiate me down after.

Lots of hidden fees and charges, so approach with care and if ure just doing a small, quick 1-man move, best going elsewhere. Their best price was $200 to move a half a van of stuff with one guy 4km down the road.

Thanks so much Man With A Van - particularly Zac & James for making our move super easy. The guys were on time (even early), friendly and powered through packing the truck and getting us on our way. Stopping at two destinations was not a problem nor was taking a few things extra off the truck when we changed our mind on where a few items were going. Highly recommended! Thanks guys.

Just awesome. I've used Man With a Van several times in the last few years. They are always excellent, highly professional, pleasant to work with and take great care in their work. My experience today was no exception. Unfortunately one of the guys ended up being quite sick, but some extra help was quickly arranged and the job was completed with no issues.

I'll never hesitate to recommend Man With a Van, they are the best movers in Melbourne!

After researching a number of movers I chose Man with a Van because I loved their ethos and their price was reasonable. The guys rang to let me know when they were about 30 mins out and arrived with a smile on their faces and a spring in their step. You should be very proud of the service your staff provide. They patiently listened to my instruction and moved everything with the same care as if they were moving their own belongings. The staff are highly skilled and safety conscious when moving furniture, particularly some of the more challenging pieces! Thank you for the awesome service and great banter!
