Good coffee and food options including GF and FF. One of the nicest outdoor areas. Whilst on the street side its a big area and sheltered with trees and umbrellas. Helpful staff and plenty of room for prams, wheelchairs etc.

I go there very often with my toddler and it's always great. Staff are very good, food and coffee is always excellent. Really good for kids. One of Brunswick's best!

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend it. It's on the pricier side of cafe's but absolutely worth it. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

This building is a very historic building and part of Brunswick's industrial heritage. Initially a gas company, it became the Lux Foundry where stoves were manufactured, and in the 1960s it became part of the Chef factory where stoves and ovens continued to be manufactured until 2001. The Lux Foundry is now a very cool cafe which serves delicious food and beverages. You really get a sense of the history as some of the original stoves and other manufacturing equipment have been salvaged and put on display or incorporated into the furniture. Many of the people who worked here reside in the local community and it's great that part of the Chef factory is still accessible to them.

Friendly staff, chic and plenty of space with a good selection of snacks, food and coffee. Great vibe.
The courtyard will be great through spring

Lux foundry has a really cool vibe about it. Love coming here. Staff are always nice and make sure you enjoy your time while you're at lux foundry.

Coffee is decent but can take a while on some days.
As for the food. Really can't go wrong here. These guys know their stuff when it comes to food.

Well worth the visit. Check it out when you can.

(Only had a coffee) But it was a decent grind!! Happy with service from the moment I walked through the door. There's space out the front in the court yard for motorbikes and pushbikes which is nice if you're rocking up on either like me. The outside tables are undercover with a couple of space heaters dotted around too. Haven't eaten here yet, but keen to return for some scrambled eggs one morning.

We love Lux, great food and coffee and super friendly staff! Lots of seating inside and out. Visit on the weekend for brunch, or drop by in the week for coffee and a delicious muffin. Space to bring a laptop when it's not too busy.

Relaxed and easy going atmosphere. Good staff and great food. Not you everyday same old cafe food.

Really enjoyed the chili scramble and cold brew. On a nice day outside is very pleasant but if the weather is average there is limited indoor seating. Staff are friendly and usually fairly quick to serve people on the outside tables.

Great menu selection, great coffee and warm service from staff. Perfect spot for cheeky brunch. Not much around the place however and outdoor seating doesn't give you anything nice to look at.

We really enjoyed our brunch with the family. A table was made up for us very quick and our order was taken and served in good time. All enjoyed their meal. The crispy poached egg was a firm favourite. I especially like the option of almond milk in my latte.
A nice feature is the link between the foundry and the old lux combustion stove our kids grew up with on our first family home.
