What a fantastic restaurant in the heart of North Carlton! My husband and I come here often and we have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the service friendly. The only problem we have found is that the serves are too generous!!!

Very nice food. I have tried the burgers and pizzas oh ya I also tried the Oreo cheese cake. The taste of everything is really nice. The meal size is much better than other places in the same area. I will definitely recommend it.

Nik@Nicholson has a great menu with lots of diversity, the food is fantastic and the customer service and devotion by the staff to making sure you have a great time and love the food is massive. The prices are very reasonable too.

I'm here at least once a week for a place to catch up on computer work (1 year plus) - I've never experienced such experiences as those below have mentioned - never missed a car park, never waited 40 minutes for a meal, never had soggy pizza - great and consistent coffee - a chef that will go above and beyond to cater for your meal requests - hard to find a place that achieves and maintains consistency in the hospitality industry. Try beforehand judging - you won't be disappointed -

This place should not be missed! Delicious food with attentive staff. Last night, we were on Nicholson street hoping to feed ourselves and came across this place. The decor is great and the venue is clean and tidy. There were so many options on the menu and we chose to have crispy calamari as entrees and Paella Valencia and Calebrese Pizza. Food came out with reasonable time without any delays. The calamari was so fresh and crispy. The pizza was one of the best pizza we have ever had. Staff was attentive. Couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful experience. Will be back!!!

Hands down the best coffee and service in Carlton; I could not rate this restaurant more!!! This place is my go-to every morning! Staff are just fantastic, so thoughtful and attentive, ensuring that every one of their customers walks out with a smile. Pizza is also great. Ace job guys, keep up the good work :)

We had a lovely lunch on Labour Day. The venue is so clean and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Our coffees were fantastic and I had the open steak sandwich. The food was very healthy and tasty! There are a tonne of hipster places around but this place won't have you crouched over a stool in a crowded venue paying through the nose. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Ordered a cuppuccino, macchiato and lamb salad. First of all I will be coming back for the coffee. It was one of the best I've tasted. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted wonderful. If it was a boned lamb the meat would've slid right off. Another thing that was equally good was the cleanliness of the place - not a speck, Not even a layer of dust on the tables. Staff were friendly and attentive. Stumbled upon this place and will be definitely going back.

We were staying in the area and was looking to order a takeaway pizza. It was so refreshing to try an authentic flavour in a takeaway that so often forgotten in the interest of mass produced food by numbers.

The base was light,allowing the quality toppings to stand out . Can definitely recommend this place.

I visited Nik at Nicholson cafe and i just wanted you to know what a delightful and just spectacular taste sensation it was and I will be back here every time I come to Melbourne from now on.

I haven’t stopped raving to my colleagues about what a wonderful meal it was. Service was superb, knowledgeable and fun and the food was delectable, mouthwatering, scrumptious..absolutely gratifying and fit for a king.

I get the opportunity to eat in many top ranked establishments in the city and across the country but Nik at Nicholson….was truly and enjoyable experience and ranks at the top of my reference list now. Thank you guys !!
