After a disappointment at De Bortoli went to Meletos instead. Good selection of wines and beers at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and willing to talk with customers. Had trouble deciding what to have because many of the choices sounded so good. But both of us enjoyed our choice of drinks and food.

Very good attentive service. Thanks to the waiting staff for that.
Meletos is a fantastic place to drink and eat. Food presentation was excellent and the four of us enjoyed our light lunch. The single scallop sliced into three pieces was beautifully presented on individual shells but one scallop for $18 was very disappointing for my friend. It would've needed to be exceptional to overcome that surprize, but it wasn't. Beers, wine all great. Very good coffee too. Weekends are very busy and noisy but a beautiful sunny Tuesday is ideal. 4/5.

Food is fantastic, and value for $$ on the banquet shared menu is great. Excellent portion sizes & a varied menu.

Staff attentiveness was a let down, probably best to avoid a public holiday - we got to our booking on time & had to wait 20 mins whilst our table was left empty, dirty from the group before us. Staff took their time re-setting even once we reminded them we were waiting. Drinks were missed & so on.

Views from the room were stunning too, but too busy to enjoy on a holiday weekend!

Nice pizzas great setting. Super busy location on weekends be prepared for a wait for your table. Or opt to be seated in the lounge chairs as we did winners!

A truly amazing place. The tall windows and the high gabled ceiling add to the charm. Some divine views of the Yarra Ranges are to be had as well. Not to mention the grounds this is sited on. Spectacular!! And this on a cold, cloudy winter day.

Go for the ambience and fall for the food. The pizzas are sensational, the base just right and yummy toppings made from local ingredients. The hand cut chips were well done too.

Oh and the ciders - crisp and refreshing.

I tried to make a booking for 5 people online 6 weeks ahead of Easter Saturday. The website said to call in order to book for 5 people, so that's what I did. When I called them, the girl advised me that they don't actually take bookings for weekends and to simply come in on the day and put our names down for a table and enjoy a drink while we wait. I was unconvinced by this and said to her that I was worried that we'd be waiting for hours or not get a table at all and might be better off to book elsewhere. She was very reassuring that if we wanted to avoid a longer wait, to arrive at 2pm as they start to quieten down by that point and that we would certainly get a seat for lunch.

That's exactly what we did today, we arrived just after 1:30 only to be told that they're "fully booked". When I asked her how long until we could get a table, she said that we would not be able to get one at all.

I came down from Sydney to enjoy Easter lunch with my mum who has just recovered from cancer and had I known that this would happen, I would have simply booked elsewhere 6 weeks ago. I'm sure the food is great and what little I saw of the venue looked amazing, but this was a crap experience and I refuse to ever go back somewhere that places such little regard on giving correct info to its clientele.

Awesome food The roast pear and honey gnocchi was sublime; the chocolate tart was lovely. Service was very slow though. I'd definitely recommend!

We had the Meletos set dinner that is available if you're a stay in guest. The food and menu is amazing. The scenery completes the entire experience. We went during summer so we had sunlight till 9pm(ish). Very much recommended for a weekend romantic getaway.
