Lovely little but comfortable cafe at the corner. I could sit there for hours with a book. Love the sesame cream pork belly with various mushrooms. The sauce was not too cloying despite the sesame content in it. It was almost like Japanese sesame salad sauce where nutty aroma married beautifully with a tang.
The best poached eggs I've had in a long time
I've been here a couple times and their french toast is definitely recommended. Their french toast, sweet corn fritters and the pork belly potato hash are really filling and are more on the affordable pricing side. Really friendly staff, cozy interior, definitely worth a try!
Good for coffee but the food is not fresh. For the cafe price would expect fresh food
Really well prepared food, nice vibe and friendly staff.
Wonderful Staff Kind Services Good food..
This place have always been of my favourite uni spots with good coffee and plentiful food. Service is good. Gets crowded during peak hours though
food is great and a lot of variety to choose. Atmosphere is good as well. A nice place to visit
This casual coffee house on the corner of Cardigan and Elgin was a delightful combination of Saturday morning brunch and a cosy, relaxing atmosphere. The 'avocado and poached egg on toast' had the right right consistency, and together with raisins, it added to a unique flavour. We also had a side of cured salmon which was a great compliment to the breakfast. The 'Big Breakfast' was basic but tasty. It hit the spot.
Very friendly staff and lovely food. The place is set up lovely and is a wonderful breakfast spot.
Slightly unusual avocado and poached egg on toast - it had sultanas and coconut flakes amongst other things - but it worked :) Nice to have something a bit different. Filter coffee was a little bland unfortunately, but not unpleasant. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and I love the logo of the place.
