Today I travelled from Red Hill to Deer Park leaving home at 7.30am (1.5 hours one way) to view a car advertised on both car sales and Toyota Used Cars Website. When I arrived they told me there was a $4000 mistake in the advertised price and they were not prepared to negotiate on the advertised price. Whilst I was pretty annoyed at the waste of my time I am even more annoyed that some three hours later they are still advertising the car at $4000 less than they are prepared to sell it for. Consumer Affairs Victoria states "If a business advertises an incorrect price by mistake, they are not obliged to sell their product at that price. However, they must withdraw the product from sale until the price is corrected."
This is the second time I have had an experience like this with a used car trader. I hope this is not indicative of the industry.response / report this review -

Thought by calling Eddie the manager all these problems would get looked into but no. I've been rudly spoken too bullied & I feel like I've been made a laughing stock. This has really effected me mentally for the way I have been treated by staff & owner. Wouldn't recommend anyone buying new or used cars, carry out any repairs on vehicles, servicing of vehicles or to have vehicles detailed. Very disappointed with the customer service & poor workmanship carried out on my vehicle when it was there. I Had it serviced which was a rushed and messy. The repairs on vehicle weren't completed when car was returned to me parts on car broken that had no problem to begin with due to lack of care. The car was also poorly detailed carpet still wet now and belongings that were locked in glovebox & under drivers seat had been taken & not returned. We were told we would be well looked after & that belongs would be fine locked up as they were aware of them there. When called to make complaint about the sevice & I wasnt happy I was told there was nothing to be done about missing items from car and since we didn't get charged full price we shouldn't complain. It makes me upset & angry because job was cheap enough doesn't mean we should be treated badly. Thats the service trust & respect these dealers at Deer park toyota give to their long term customers. Shame on all of you

Excellent. The best Toyota service in the northern or western suburbs. Found my Toyota dealer!!! Trusted, genuine and good workmanship. Greg in parts is honest and really helpful. Very happy.

Friendly, efficient and accommodating. Kept all promises and you can actually wait and collect your vehicle. Been searching for a good Toyota dealer for service and found it! It's worth the travel as I don't live close by, goes to show that things that are local and convenient aren't always the best. Thanks guys !

Bought my first car here. Friendly and genuine sales people. Peter (short) was hilarious and very helpful, Maketh was welcoming and even drove me home and Eddie the manager gave me a real good deal! Definitely 5 stars!

Servicing is done right, but wait time is ridiculous! Got told to come at 4 to pick up the car, and half an hour later, I'M STILL SITTING THERE WAITING! Told them I needed it soon cause I have work to go to, but NOTHING HAPPENED FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR! THIS IS BULLCRAP! Why tell me 4 o'clock and not be god damn ready?! Wasting my time and making me late to work. Thanks for nothing Toyota Deer Park! Beyond livid!

My experience at LeMans Toyota Deer Park was a 5/5. The customer service and care is exceptional and I felt valued as a customer. The staff went above and beyond for my family and I and spent hours with me to find the perfect car to fit my lifestyle. A special mention to Will, Ruben, Peter and Steven who were all professional and made the process extremely easy especially for something who knows little about purchasing a car. I would recommend this dealership to everyone who wants an easy experience with purchasing a car.
