Terrible place. Has good reviews on booking sites, what a load s*#t. Room was disgusting, shower was cold. Rubbish and food under bed and couches.. would never ever stay at this place again! Stay away!! zero stars suits better
Convenient, laid back staff and tidy rooms. Why not?
Wouldn't let my dog stay here. Room smelt of mould and carpet was filthy. Better off sleeping in your car or in a rent.
Not great but if you need somewhere cheap the price is about the best available for emergency accommodation.
Location is not convenient, the motel could make up for this with room quality but they do not. Not only is the room cleanliness not up to scratch or even to be considered as SAFE but the state of the rooms is also ran down and un-kept. There was a stain on our quilt cover, we didn't even see the rest of our bed as we weren't game enough to pull back the sheets. The carpet was dirty, shower was dirty and contained mould, the drawers were missing handles, the towl rack in the bathroom was falling off the wall, there was a red garbage bag wrapped around the light bulb instead of a light cover, and dead bugs across the window seal. These are just what we specifically noticed, we probably would have noticed more had we actually stayed the night. I demanded a refund and instead stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton in Melbourne's CBD. Then room pictures online falsely advertise the standards and quality of the rooms as they use a dark light filter to cover up the dirt, and most likely pick the most up to scratch room out of the 20 or so that they have to take the photo in. For the price per night, you could find yourself a much nicer place to stay in Melbourne's outer suburbs.
Awful, truly awful. Bins over flowing with rubbish in drive not to mention other junk. Not a towel each person, no toilet paper, no fly screens, room stank of smoke, fridge had broken door and shelves, graffiti on door and in cupboard. Had a group staying, but can't believe it was so bad. Noisy cars in driveway, police visiting motel. Don't stay here, I'm sure you can find a dumpster that is full of ratting food and dirty nappies that would be better. How did it average 2.2 star. Zero stars. But I can give zero.
The absolute basics. Poor paint work, hole in the wall. Only book if really needed
- old window air-conditioner that starts and stops with aloud "clonk". The way to turn on or off the air con was directly from the wall socket.
- old fridge with the freezer compartment frozen over, it looked like no one had cleaned the fridge in a few years
- old pillows that are hard and heavy. If it were my own pillow, i would be sure they are full of dead dust mites.
- old mattress that was hard and stained
We left the towels on the towel rail as we do not mind reusing the towels for a second day. To our horror after we returned to the room - the floor mat was placed right on top of our towels and based on the dirt and stains on the floor mat, we are sure it wasn't a new piece but the same one that was on the floor the night before. And they encourage us to be environmentally friendly.
o''''' my god!!!!!
This the horrible and dirty place I have ever seen.
horrible druggies live there.
Damaged door lock, broken shaked table, broken glass, broken plates and cracked sheets cover
Stranger broke into my room mid night.
Ringing motel reception several times & there was no any reply.
No staff at night
It’s a dangerous place
Highly not recommend
Whoa, I never knew places like this existed anymore. It is straight out of the scariest horror movie you've ever seen. Unkept gardens and generally rundown exterior and no better on the inside. This attracts clientele that go bump in the night. Needs to be bulldozed and redeveloped like the properties on either side.
If Anthony Melchiorri from Hotel Impossible saw this one, he'd crack up! We didn't expect much for the price, but in this day and age of travel, we expected slightly more. At attempt had been made to update the room with paint but that was it - paint splashed on bare brick. Absolutely no style. Just somewhere to spend the night that was cleanish. The mattress was straight from Cambodia - hard as a cement block. The sheets were clean but one blanket on the double bed was a single turned around, though there was an electric one provided. The thin excuse for a bedspread was a joke and the curtains just a length of fabric with hooks. Some attempt had been made to update the bathroom, but the shower was pathetic, the shower head flopped downwards when turned on and couldn't ever get the mix right on a freezing night. The towels had seen better days, and no face washer was provided. The pipes needed renewing as the water coming from them was brown and we had to boil the jug to clean our teeth. New microwave and fridge and tea provisions were okay and the a/c quite effective. What really took the cake was the plastic 7eleven bag tied over the smoke detector above the entry door, no doubt to stop it going off when patrons smoked outside, (there was a dish, presumably an ash tray by the steps). Wonder what the fire brigade would say if they were called?? Naturally we removed it immediately. We had to complain to management after one a.m. about the noise from a party upstairs. We would definitely travel further than choose a cheapie next time. The client was not the focus of this business!
