Decent enough, high end economy is how i would describe the place. Staff are extremely friendly. Like too much friendly. Clean toilets is all i want

Very nice hotel. Rooms were large and clean. At the Kings Cross Station. Come out the Victoria exit and turn right into the hotel lobby. On rail to Bondi Beach.

Perfect location right next to Kings Cross station. Rooms were clean overall, but did have leftover hair shavings from the previous guest. Showerhead sprayed diffusely and didn't allow for adjustment. Water temperature was also difficult to control. Service was great, no complaints.

The place is decent. But compared to other ihg hotels it’s not that well maintained. I was put next to construction site and it was painful to wake up 530 every morning.
The staff are friendly
If you stay on level 2 you have one lift and it is slow
Breakfast not worth it as after two days you will get bored with same stuff. Chef lacks creativity
Location is great. Apart from the noises
Overall it is old hotel and lacks the feel good factor. Lifts are old rooms are old. It just does not feel like a place for decent stayresponse / report this review -

Good hotel. Nice location with shopping and dining around (grocery store is very close). Rooms are a fair size but could be updated. Very friendly staff. The wifi worked very well (free).

I and my husband stayed here for 6 nights during our stay in Sydney. The hotel was fine and everything was fine until we were checking out. There was only one person at the reception and the guest before us was taking a lot of time. We had an international flight to catch and so after waiting for 5 minutes I said I am just checking out. To which the lady at the reception said we owed 60 cents for a phone call. We didn't have change and so I gave her a credit card. At that time she said that we would have to wait for the guest to be done before she could take the payment. I can't believe we were made to wait so much just for paying 60 cents!! We had to catch a flight to LA!!

The rooms in the Holiday Inn are very clean and spacious. The Room Service was fast but efficient. The breakfast offer is diverse and tasty, everything is made fresh. The service is friendly and helpful with all tasks. The Sydney Harbour and the Opera house are in walking distance. If you are looking for a place to stay in Sidney, I'd really recommend the Holiday Inn.

Its a holiday inn. You know what you get it is the same everywhere and it is great. Good location close to some amazing food.
