I thought this Hotel was overpriced. A bit run down in halls. Needs painting/cleaning.
Rooms very nice but could be cleaner. Hair in bath.
We were upgraded to a suite on Sussex St, so roadworks noise was minimal.
Beds very comfortable.
Staff very friendly.
However, chose this Hotel for bath facilities. Went to have a bath but no bath plug. Rang reception to get one. Was told they didn't have one. Why have a bathtub but won't supply plug. Used the kitchen one which didn't fit but used it upside down with my foot firmly placed on it. Not relaxing.
This place is disgusting. Our stay was not pleasurable. The hotel is run down and smells quiet bad. Our room wasn’t much better and the king bed was 2 beds pushed together but one bed was much higher than the other which made it uncomfortable to sleep on the underlay sheets had stains on them as well. The noice was bad from the road works on George street as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone. At $266 a night plus $30 parking I would expect a lot more. If I could give no stars I would.
The rooms are nice and the location is great but BEWARE OF NIGHT CONSTRUCTION UNTIL 2019. DO NOT stay in any of the hotels on George St if you want a good night sleep until construction is complete some time in 2019. Read and understand the parking policy. If you stay beyond 11am the parking lot company will ram you up the ass dry! You've been warned!!!!
Nice place, loved having a balcony. Very clean. Friendly. A lot of road noise. Just shut the door and it’s quiet. Beds are so comfortable.
Very nice moderately priced hotel. The staff were very helpful when I left behind my laptop charger, they called promptly after I left, and sent it back to me free of charge.
Nestled in the Central Business District, this modern hotel is a 15-minute walk from Darling Harbour, Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Tower.
The unfussy, streamlined studios have free Wi-Fi, cable TV and kitchenettes. The 1-bedroom suites add balconies, while the family suites add kitchens and the 2-bedroom apartments feature dining areas and washer/dryers. Minimum-stay requirements may apply.
There’s a Chinese restaurant and a spa offering massages and beauty treatments (surcharge). The hotel also has guest laundry facilities.
Upon arrival we found the TV and the remote to not be working. When trying to enter the balcony on the 13th floor I noticed the door was not properly fitted and refused to close without unnecessary force. The air-condition in the bedroom also did not 'cool' the room when it was turned to cool. However the room was liveable and the interaction with employees was sadly limited but when interacting they were very pleasant. Hopefully when the light rail is done it benefits the place.
Staff very friendly & helpful. Location excellent. Requested a room with a balcony & on Sussex st side as quieter & that's what we got. Couldn't get into the room till 2 (but we new that) & our luggage was in our room when we got there at 2.
Loved our stay there & would definitely stay again.
The fact that we woke up to very loud drilling, hammering and general construction (renovations - much needed) on neighbouring rooms makes for an unpleasant holiday experience. This went on throughout the day so there was little opportunity for rest in our hotel room on this holiday for which we paid good money for the accommodation. When we queried the staff at front desk, we were asked "when else are we supposed to do it?". Not very impressed. Very little value for money. Wouldn't rush to recommend. Also no free wifi?!
Perfect location, at the centre of CBD with all the restaurants, shopping stores and bars around. We had last minute walk-in booking and the receptionist handle us in good manner. The room is clean and spacious too. Maybe because we came at night but we got a really good bargain from the front desk I give 4 stars because the pillows are too soft for my liking, spotted some dust around the corner, and the elevator's noise disturb my sleep a bit..
Very disappointed, took my daughter there for her birthday, everything old, and run down. Room felt claustrophobic as ceiling so low. Had room on 3rd floor family suite with balcony. No coffee cups to go with coffee and jug!
Stains over lamps and marks all over walls.
Over $500 , we were really let down!
We are on the 3rd floor that looks out into China town. We booked a king room and got 2 single beds put together so that we fell into the crack between the beds during the night. They advertised a full sized bathtub but only half my body fit in and we had to call reception twice because there was no bath plugs and we were given the wrong size the first time around. There's no mini bar or room service. There was also no hot water by 9pm. The most you could get was luke warm. The staff have been fabulous though.
Chilled out place and close to shops. Starbucks is opposite. Staff are friendly and rooms are tidy. 10 min walk to Darling Harbour which is a nice friendly space with lots of bars and restaurants.
My partner and I stayed at this Hotel straight after watching a show at the Capitol Theatre. The location and convenience is 10/10, and the staff is extremely friendly. We were assigned into the two king sized beds on the third floor. The suite was beautiful, clean, but also had a very modern home feel to it. We would definitely be staying again if we ever are in Sydney. Amazing hotel 10/10, would reccomend to everyone.
