Nice room, clean and tidy. Lovely pool and barbecue-area. Tables and chairs outside where you can sit in the shade. Near the beach and shops/restaurants. Friendly people if you need any help. I broke a tooth and Craig did do everything to find a dentist for me.

Slightly out of town hotel, dated, tired room but clean and tidy.
Bathroom shower was hot, powerful and plenty of it.
Air conditioning in room 221 was exceptional.
Friendly staff and nice but small free form pool. Perfect to cool down after doing the trips and tours.

My daughter slept on a trundle bed and all she felt was springs. As we heard there was a balcony WE WHERE EXCITED then we found out we where staring at a house. Tiny room. Not really friendly staff. TV WAS BAD. Air cone is so freezing, if u want to go to the North Pole I suggest here. And we are next to a hostel. Overall DONT COME

The beds are a bit firm for our liking, however, we did have 2 doubles and a bunk bed, so thats not too bad, service was great though. Lovely lady on the front desk was extremely helpful when we had a small issue with the lights not working with the little card slider you need to use to turn the power on to the room.

Great location, decent rooms and a comfy bed. Easy walking distance to the marina, restaurants, shopping centres and the train/bus station. The only downsides to this place were that there were no lifts (that we found) and the staff were a little unfriendly but nothing that should stop you from staying here.

No wash cloths offered, only hand towels and face towels; if you have 3 people the third bed is a cot/rollaway, not real bed; breakfast buffet is French toast, eggs, fruit, cereals, breads, hash browns ($20/pp or 2 for $30); continental breakfast $12; reliable and free fast WiFi; only ten minute straight walk to esplanade

Our room was a good price, and very clean. I'd consider staying again if I'm visiting Cairns

Definitely not 4-star hotel according to the UK standards. May be 1 stars at most.

    Pros:
    nice reception staff.

    Cons:
    - wifi sucks. You will be lucky if you get 30kb/s. Router is often overcrowded so frequent disconnections is common occurrence.
    - stayed for 4 nights, robish bins not always emptied.
    - coffee or tea not being replenished everyday
    - cleaning staff are lazy, floors never got cleaned and generally seems dirty.
    - shower gel, shampoo & tissues are not being replenished on daily basis.
