A nice apartment with every amenity you could want particularly for traveling from afar such as in suite laundry and kitchenette. Right in the heart of everything and very short walk to everything

Reasonable self contained apartments located in the heart of Cairns. Comfy, affordable, a small walk to the Esplanade and beach pool. Lots of tours and things to do in and around Cairns, staff can help book these.

The only advantage is good location, very convenient, especially the supermarket is just in front of the apartment. However, the room is quite dirty. There were lots hair in our room and on the sofa. Besides, we felt itchy and suffered skin rash since we stayed in the apartment. It seems there was bed bugs or mites. The kitchen facilities were just OK. Bathroom, my god, there were hundreds of ants in the bathroom!!! BTW, it rained during our first and second night. There was loud noise over floor when it rained, we even couldn't sleep well. These buxxxxits made us disappointed because it's our honeymoon. The WIFI signal was very weak and slow.

２名１泊10,000円以下で宿泊出来、キッチンと調理器具が一式そろっています。道路を挟んで向にスーパーマーケットがあるので朝と夜は自炊をしました。本場のオージービーフステーキを食べても一人1,000円もかかりません。ここオーストリアは物価が日本よりも高く外食するとお昼でも1,500円くらいかかるのでとても助かりました。
部屋は使用による汚れと古さは多少あり、４泊するあいだタオルの交換、清掃のサービスはありませんでしたが洗濯機が室内にあるので着替えと一緒に自分で毎日洗いましたので問題ありませんでした。
スタッフは英語のみでしたがとてもフレンドリーでした。

I travel extensively, much of it alone, have stayed in hotels all over the world, and it gives me much pleasure to write this review of the Inn Cairns. As has been said in other reviews on this website, it is ideally located in the centre of Cairns, near a supermarket, chemist, small bistros, coffee shops, etc. My apartment was immaculate and spacious with a well equipped kitchenette and laundry facilities. Although I didn’t use the swimming pool, it was there for the taking, and the rooftop views over the bay where one can go and relax after a hectic day are stunning.

However, what I would like to emphasise is the wonderful service I received from the management of this hotel – the three musketeers, “Selwyn, Jonathan and Eric”. I have never experienced anything like it before.

I arrived at around 10.00 a.m. and as checking-in time was 2.00 p.m., I thought I would have to dump my suitcases in the reception area and come back later. Not so. I was told I could have my room immediately, thus giving me an extra day’s holiday in Cairns. It was also a real plus to arrive in a city where I knew a little of what I wanted to do in regard to tours and activities and to have it supplemented and completely organised for me by Selwyn. He listened to my needs, arranged and booked a schedule for me and then handed me a file in chronological order of the tours and activities with full information on each, including pick-up point and cost. It made everything so simple and hassle free for me.

The managers of the Inn Cairns focus their attention on the welfare of their guests. Want to know the best places to eat in Cairns? Ask the management. Want to know the best places to see, hire a car, take in the sights, whatever? Ask the management. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.
