Just back from Alamanda Palm Cove where I spent an absolute fantastic stay.

Disappointed
We booked this place as it looked amazing on all the reviews and their own website. We were disappointed. The interior was very tired and dated. Paint coming off wall, cracked sink, rust etc. The room was not cleaned properly either, bits of crisp under pillows, dust on ledges and hair everywhere. We spoke to front of house staff who were very understanding and helpful. They offered us another room, but this was equally tired and dated.
Having said this, the location of the hotel is AMAZING. Right on the beach, with palms and birds and the most amazing sunrise ever! Service was excellent too, although they did not get housekeeping to remove the crisps and hair we had told them about…
The restaurant in the hotel is amazing too, perfect setting/view and very high standard food. Best wine list in Palm Cove.
The hotel management responded very well to our complaint.

Great location and had a blast. Accommodation was spacious and fairly modern. Shuttle that takes you to and from the airport is great. Three swimming pools, friendly staff, and a section by the beach. Shutters could have done with a proper dust. Wouldn't get your hopes up for early check-ins.

Fantastic resort with great staff. Large sized rooms, 3 separate pools, spa service with an infinity pool. Direct frontage to the beach. Place to stay if you're ever in Palm Cove!

Great location. We stopped in for a beverage in the nunu's restaurant at the front of the hotel and could watch the waves crashing on the beach. The customer service was brilliant.

We felt so welcome from the moment we stepped into the Alamanda property. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in, so they provided us with complimentary champagne. Rooms were amazing and very spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable. If anyone needs a lower level room, I would highly recommend booking well in advance since there are no elevators and rooms tend to fill up quickly.
