Loved it. Had great time at this place. Thought it was hot in cherry orchard , the experience was worth the travelling I did from Melbourne CBD.

In order to avoid the crowd we got there at 9am on Monday and it was perfect. By 10~10.30 the sun started to rise up and it got super hot. At the same time the tour groups arrived so it was great that we left before it got crowded.
Before getting on the shuttle bus we filled water in the bucket to wash cherry before eating. Cherries were big & sweet.

Massive crowd during weekend. Waited 1 hr to get into the farm and 1 hour to get out. Oh, and half an hour for toilet as well. Cherries are either too ripe or not ready. No more next time thanks.

Massive farm. We arrived to a big car park which seemed to be uncoordinated. The closest parks were empty. Then a walk to the entry gate to check the online ticket and get some massive bucket that holds 6kg of Cherries! The smaller ones reserved for tour buses.
After that a short bus ride to today’s picking zone. Two rows were allocated. But the good cherries were a long walk to the end we were told. A lot of Chinese, some who didn’t understand English, didn't know which row we were meant to pick from. Unfortunately the heavy rainfall from last week has split many of the cherries. Even so we did fill 2 buckets out of many rejects.
The waterhole at the end was unprotected and a danger to the few small children who found the water area more entertaining than the cherries. After the collection there was a line to pay. It wasn't very clear how many lines there were, only to be told in a nasty voice we didn’t line up. Yeah ok we only waited for 10 mins. Another bus ride back, then another long walk back to the car.
Looks like a very good business, but a little uncoordinated. There are only so many cherries you can eat in a couple of hours. There also seems to be a huge amount just wasted and dumped on the ground. I guess that explains the entry fee.response / report this review -

Great Cherry produce. A few range of products made from cherry flavour. From jam to menringue.. very big farm with lots of trees. We went to the blossom festival today and was beautiful. Great place for a picnic, so bring your rug.

Great place to visit and enjoy your day at least once a year during cherry picking, I know the price of cherry is a bit dear when bring with you but it worth.

I had a very good experience at Cherryhill last Christmas so decided to come back for a visit this year. However, the experience had been very different. The staff looking after the store were still helpful but understandably less caring due to the amount of customers. Nevertheless, it was not as bad as the people who controlled the traffic outside (not sure if they're part of Cherryhill regular staff). The traffic controllers were just plain rude and treated customers who intended to go in as if they were beggars instead of customers (at least that was how we felt). Cars driving by were yelled at with messages like "closed, it's closed, they won't let you in!" from far away, without a clear explanation of why or when it would be opened again. They even refused people who parked their car elsewhere and walked in, even when we explained that we were not here to pick and just to purchase some. Instead, it could be just a very simple explanation like "I'm sorry the car park is full but if you could come back in 30mins or so we will see if we can fit you in", and let the customers who walk in to wait in a line near the shop, not in the pavement near the gravel road!, like any other busy shopping places. This behaviour was noticeably worse when directing towards non-Caucasian customers, so we can't help but think there was some underlying racism issue (we never experienced any racism when visiting Cherryhill last year, so it was very unfortunate). However, we still like your cherries and hope the management will be better next time!

Today I went to your farm. Cherry is ok and the staff in the counter is very friendly. However, I'm very disappointed and unhappy in the end of the day when I came to the cafe shop there. The staff in the cafe is unfriendly and their attitude and behavior is quite that makes me feel discriminated by them. Reasonably, I bought a lot. They could see and when they gave me the products, they should ask me to need the bags or not instead of just giving us, don't care us to be able to carry or not, for example. I don't want to complaint too much, but your service can influence our emotion. Actually, I felt happy after picking cherry and satisfied with the Asian girl who served me at the counter, is very friendly. After that, when coming in the coffee shop, It destroyed all my feelings today.

not sure if I come in the right period because the place is swamped with Chinese, there are only red cherries which are really sour and in very small size. We stayed there only 5 minutes.

Great fun and you get to take home loads of freshly picked cherries. Just make sure you arrive early in the day as it gets very busy, very fast.
