  The service was great, they cleaned a table straight away for us. The meals were quick to arrive however the portion sizes are a bit on the big side, skip lunch!. I would certainly recommend the Bowen Hotel.

  Nice venue, quiet and cool. Plenty of tables, not cramped at all. Steaks were HUGE, great value as reasonably priced, and veges were fresh and nice. Only notesteaks were cooked one scale beyond requested, might pay to order accordingly e.g. order medium rare if you want medium.
