  The expectation outweighed the actual experience, Romano’s probably has one of the best outlooks, right on the quayside. The service was fragmented with or wine order coming to the table half way through our main course. The Lasagna was bland and boring, we had to ask repeatedly for table water, the staff seemed constantly busy. The other dishes seemed pretty good so 3 out of 5. Would give it another go just for the location.

  Group of 8, 6 of our meals was really very disappointing, very expensive for what we got and the wine list was very basic. Will not go back or recommend.

  Very disappointed. Very small potions and bland. The highlight was the mash. None of the party of eight enjoyed their meal.

  Decent Italian food, great portion. I wasn't a fan of risotto until coming here. Must try: risotto, mussel (one of the most popular dishes), duck ragout and caprese salad.

  Top three italian food experiences I've ever had. Wonderful fresh pasta. Excellent service staff. Even the rain blowing under the eaves and the attitude of the Bridezilla at the table next to us couldn't dim the smile on my face.

  Venue and staff are excellent. Traditional Italian with fresh ingredients. Prices are in line with what you would expect to pay for a good meal on Hamilton Island 🌴

  Staff was warm & friendly. The weather was really hot so it could have been so much better if there was more ventilation; nonetheless, we did still enjoy the food. I had the prawn pasta and the gelato was just so fitting! We did tell them though that we were celebrating our anniversary and was offered nothing… not that we did expect anything, but a greeting would’ve been more than enough :)

  Had the worst experience. Went there yesterday for a romantic dinner. The quality of food is horrible , we have been down with fever and upset stomach since then .
  ( p.s. we do not have any sort of food allergies) .
  
  Please have the quality of raw materials used in your dishes checked.

  Fantastic food quality and service, both my entree and main were satisfying.. highly recommend the Italian doughnuts for desert.
