It's a quaint place with good service. I attended a professional function there and can vouch for their having quality board room and function rooms

Not bad for a cheaper, quick Melbourne visit option.
Stayed for 4 nights for business, room was older, but clean, was at the back so quieter off main street. Did struggle dragging my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Breakfast in restaurant was good, nice variety and cooked well.

In two words. A disgrace. My first google guide rant: I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and motels through out Australia and I'm never one to complain, but then I've never stayed in a motel that deserves to be featured on Gordon Ramsays 'Hotel Hell' either

Its a real shame. The Best Western Buckingham International has been somewhat iconic to the area for many years now and it promises so much from the outside with its imposing and almost medievil looking frontage, but inisde its a mid 90's Budget Motel room in regional Western Australia.

The moment I walked in I noticed filthy floors and stains on the walls, presumably from food and drink. Yay food fight. When I went to close the pale yellow curtains, a huge brown stain stood out on them like tomato sauce on a white T shirt. I was hoping it was chocolate and not fecal matter.. It was disgusting.
The bathroom looked like that out of an Irish backpackers, with mouldy grout and dead bugs squashed to the ceiling (this has been posted on images of the property)
If you're like me and not fussy, some of this you could turn a blind eye too but it was really very prominent.
Of course when i pulled the bedsheets back there were stains on them, at this stage I realised that this was a given, so i went to sleep on top of the sheets.
All was good and well until a domestic broke out beneath my window, a woman screaming and shouting all kinds of profanities because someone had locked her out, so naturally she decided to brake one of the hotel windows. I got up to close my window to find it was also broken, hence me hearing the ordeal. I called reception immediately and it was soon quiet again.

Finally the wifi was at dial up speed and the decor was tacky. Channel 9life come makeover this fixer upper Pines Frankston motel plonked in Cheltenham.

In conclusion stay here.. If you like throwing away big money for a fancy looking dorm room.

Not a fan of this place , the room had atleast 2 cockroaches and the room smelled of cigarette smoke and vinegar , lot of noise from the main road. Its definitely not a 4 star , 2 star at most . The restaurant meals were way below average and very overpriced. The office ladies stare in a rudest possible way and also grab heaps of breakfast items without considering the guests.
