Tuesday night is Sagra night where the Chef celebrates a local produce making it the focus of the night. Superb no nonsense experience with a classic wine menu.

Fantastic wine, warm and friendly staff, very good food, especially if you are into healthy options, great ambience, bustling and happening. Hidden away inside a small lane in the CBD. I would recommend it anytime.

My booking for a 60th birthday celebration was made more than a week prior to our proposed dinner for 5 guests. On arrival, we were seated at a small coffee sized table. The table allocated to us was clearly inadequate for 5 people to dine in comfort. When I requested a better arrangement the waiter replied, "If you don't like it, you are welcome to leave!" When I pointed out that an empty adjacent seating arrangement for 6 people was comprised of two tables, the waiter's retort was that some people book 6 weeks in advance to this restaurant. After a moment's reflection, we decided to leave before dining and risking another insult.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney! Beautiful food, incredibly ambient and excellent service. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or with a small group of friends. The modern Italian menu is seasonal and plates are best shared

I didn't expect much when I first walked into this restaurant. I am blown away by the dishes and I myself is not a sweet tooth but I really enjoyed the dessert. The service is excellent and the staff have sound knowledge of wine and all wine suggestions were really good. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

I decided to take my partner to a nice Italian restaurant for her birthday. I had never heard of Berta before and noticed that the reviews were great so I decided to give it a go. Upon walking in, I felt a great vibe - semi rustic, yet with a hint of modern, I felt that the ambience was perfect for the occasion. Greeted by professional but down to earth staff was the beginning and as the courses came out the night only got better. The burrata, tiger prawns and crab spaghetti were stand outs and I would highly recommend. Great for small groups or intimate dinners - you won't be disappointed.
