Allocated us a spot which was already taken by someone else. Ended up in a noisy spot near pool and play are. Wifi not good. Expensive at $51 in the off season in November. Not close to Port Douglas.
Don't waste your money here. Booked accommodation here solely for the waterpark. I was shocked to find that the waterpark is falling apart and NOTHING like the pictures on their website. My son scrapped his knees and hands multiple times on the cement where the rubber matting had torn away. He also tripped and almost broke his arm on the ripped rubber matting. Looks like they spent more money on surveillance cameras to watch you than to repair the safety hazards. Also saw a power cable in the water. I'm surprised no one has seriously injured themselves, but then again, they make you sign a form before your allowed to swim.
Cabin was not worth the money we spent. It was old, mouldy and the last time the kettle was 'Test and Tagged' was 2013. The plastic on it was crumbling away into the water. Bunk bed squeeked SO loud my son ended up sleeping on the floor.
Lady in the front office was RUDE! I later found out she was the owner. Terrible customer service.
The whole experience was just horrible.
Pretty standard for a big 4. Nice size, quiet and nice sites. Camp kitchen good, ensuite bathrooms are new but it's all open plan so gets a bit messy. Waterpark hit with the kids, and heated pool.
Beautiful place surrounded by trees. Lots shaded area. Looking forward to the stay.
Got put up the back for no reason that I could figure out. Water and Power was easily 15M from the expensive site the reception did not mention this.
Luckily we have extensions for both power and water. But i'm sure most would not have.
Im not sure why the grass was all dead. Can't imagine they don't have access to water
Nice, shady camp sites. Location is just a big outside of Port Douglas, but we didn't mind this as it was a quite spot with no road noise. Best part is the awesome wet rooms - a little bit of luxury when you're camping!
Awesome place for kids! Have 6yr old twin boys and a 2yr old boy and they had a ball in the water park and swimming pool!! Water slides were great even for the big kids like myself 😁
Had a camper trailer on a powered site. Plenty of shade and amenities were immaculate and clean.
Weather wasn't perfect with drizzle in the mornings however staff allowed us a late checkout to allow our canvas to dry before we packed up! Will be back for sure!!
The location was good, although it is about ten minutes drive from the centre of Port Douglas. Facilities at the park such as the pool etc. were good. The cabin we stayed in was ok although nothing special. We would probably opt for a more basic cabin next time.
Has all the things you need for a night to a week. Kid friendly
Good camper site outside Port Douglas. We went mainly there due to our kid and the availability of the water park. Pool is nice when also a bit small. Water park could needs some refurbishment. Amenities are clean. Missed some means to clean the BBQ.
Stayed in a valley view cabin for 8 nights. Great location for families with young children/ toddlers to stay. Water park and play area were awesome. About 10 minute drive from beaches and town. Very impressed
Very happy of our stay at the big4 port Douglas holiday park that i recommend. The owners were very kind with us providing information on the points of information. The bathrooms were clean., a lot of trees provide shading. Thr Park is quiet. One negative point is that the Park is à few km from port douglas
