Great meals at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is very pleasant sitting outside in Alfresco area or on the verandah. Excellent service.

Least a good time at the Courthouse! Especially with the live bands. Love their Sunday sessions. Great big meals, sometimes a long wait in the high season, school holidays etc. love music Thursday through to Sunday. Mixed crowd in ages. From young and old. Sometimes more old than young but very accepting.

Set right in the heart of Port this is a great casual option for lunch or dinner. There is a range of seating options available from lounges to large group long-tables so it's relatively family friendly. The service is good, but it would be nice to have only one table number per group and to be able to order non alcoholic drinks (milkshakes & juices) with food. Food wise the menu is better than your average 'pub' meal; beautifully presented & quite delicious! There was the usual order mix up, but nothing that would ruin your day & the staff were all easygoing & friendly.

We were here just as the kitchen opened so it wasn't busy, mango daiquiri was delicious and cold seafood platter was absolutely perfect. Fresh and simple- amazing oysters, prawns and sashimi with great sauces. Rest of our group had a steak sandwich that was average - the steak was pretty gristly, and a fish and chips that was great.

Great place if your from the state's and want to catch a game. MNF and MLB games early in the morning. Good food too.

I am very unimpressed with this ( I don't even think it should be given the title restraunt ) not only was the place dirty and, don't even get me started on the toilets, my chicken was raw in he centre and it's obvious fresh ingredients were not used. This quaility of food is disappointing and unacceptable for the price. The staff are also quite rude and make the experience even more unpleasant. So if you want dirty plates and cutlery, uncooked food and unpleasant staff, come to the courthouse hotel.

Most crap $38 steak I've ever had.
First one I asked medium rare; still bleeding.
Send it back and asked for replacement sauce. Was told they'd cook a new one.
Comes back with old steak, no replacement sauce. Didn't complain about the sauce or lack of new steak.
Get to the last 3rd and it was raw. I send it back again.
They say they'll cook a new one and I ask replacement sauce again.
I get the new steak, cooked perfectly but salty as if it had been dragged through the beach.
I get the bar manager and proceeded to tell us that they 'season' the meat. I have never heard of steak being seasoned to a high saline level.
We were then given obvious platitudes that were quite frankly not good enough.
One should be able to season their steak as they see fit.
What if the customer had high blood pressure?
Sloppy workmanship.
$38 steak was NOT worth it.response / report this review
