Not bad. The redclaw pasta was delish but the cocktail they recommended traded like sugary Devil water.

Found this place a few minutes before it opened for lunch and 15 minutes later it was full and buzzing. Had an excellent table at the front. Staff were friendly and very brisk and professional. Food was some of the best we have eaten in Australia. The calamari dish and the salads were excellent and the dips delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

An excellent outdoor feel to the restaurant. Having beeen recommended by a friend thee food was not what I expected and more of a pub meal. Staff were friendly.

First I must say if you are thinking of going here is to book well in advance as this place is that good you can wait up to a week to get in for dinner.
The food is fresh and top quality and we just love the atmosphere in this restaurant it is located right in the heart of Port Douglas.
Great wine selection and cocktail and also some amazing mocktails for the ones that are the nominated drivers.

This place is deceptive, I have walked past it many times and had never gone in. On recommendation of one of the locals we decided to try it. The service on the day was amazing, as was the food and cocktails. Well worth dropping in.

What happened to it? It used to be a fun experience. This trip the fun was leaving it.

While the food took a look forward time to come, and the chef acknowledged that by offering a free dessert (which was just spot on and moorish) he was let down by the serving staff. They just weren't focused on what should be a high level of service for this restaurant

We were wandering around town looking for somewhere to lunch and liked the vibe we were getting from Salsa, then we examined the menu and it was right up our alley.

I had the pulled pork poppers for entree and was blown away by not just the deliciousness but the generous sizing of the dish. My family also had the spring rolls, garlic cheesy bread and prosciutto wrapped quail - all were equally delicious and generous.

For main I had the Creole Jambalaya and it was a taste sensation. Also huge serving! My family had the gnocchi, fish of the day and Pork Salad. Again, all equally delicious and did I mention the generous servings? This and the fantastic quality made it excellent value for money.

The staff were very friendly, knew their produce and super efficient.

Really wish you guys were in Sydney so ee could visit you every week. Thank you for a fabulous lunch, the food babies and food comas

One fantastic meal! Went here on the last night in Port. Only a short wait for a table, I'm informed cocktail on the day was agreeable.

The food was truly excellent, trout entree blew us away, really light, full of flavour. Korean BBQ pork was "okay" in comparison.

For mains we had snapper from the specials and the rib eye. Both were pretty special.

Deconstructed black forest confused my pallet and perhaps should've been left out.

    Overall great quality food.

Awesome food and service, probably the best in Port Douglas. The staff is really friendly and professional. Big kitchen that keeps an eye on their presentation, lots of choices and excellent seafood. Reservation is mandatory but you can always try a late (circa 9pm) dinner if you don't have a booked table. Will be going again.
