I think one of the best places to eat in that area. Ate there twice within a couple days, both times the food was Great!

Food was excellent. Unsure at first by the menu but thought we'd just give it a go.
    Very friendly wait staff.
A little bit pricey but as we discovered it was well worth it.
Going to go back tomorrow night and try other menu items.

Great paella. Nice tapas. Good staff. Reasonable prices (not cheap but not too much).

Great food, paella was one the best I've had and service was very good. Only reason I didn't give it a 5, head waiter was pretty rude to a potential customers. Due to his inflexibility they walked away and went somewhere else. As a owner of a restaurant as well, and understanding the challenges of table allocation, situation could have been handled far better resulting in a happy and paying customer.

Wonderful food, great service from knowledgeable staff. Best done as a group to share food/experience. Have gone multiple times and never had a bad experience.

Worth it. We visited twice over 10 days. And we could have gone again! Very allergy friendly. Fun and knowledgable service. Great for groups because you can share four or five tapas and a paella.

We had Paella and it was great. But there were 3 of us and the menu said they do Paella for 2 or 4. Before we sat down we asked the waitress if they would do it for 3. She said yes so we sat down and ordered. The meal came and it was great, just enough for 3 . When I went to pay the bill I noticed they had charged for 4 and when I queried that, the same waitress told me we got Paella for 4! Two points, firstly Paella for 3 should be charged for 3, not 4, and secondly if we got Paella for 4 it is not a big enough serve! We are not big eaters and got through this easily. (After managers reply) I understand your position but with respect I think you are missing the point. Before we sat down we asked if you would do Paella for 3. We were told yes. No confusion there. We were then charged for 4. If we had been told that we have to order Paella for 4 we may have made a different decision. And again I make the point that for 4 big eaters that would be a small serve that would not satisfy them.

When I planned to spend a week in Port Douglas the last thing I expected was to find one of the best Spanish meals I've ever had. But life is full of surprises. The paella was superior to many offerings in Barcelona - jam packed with seafood - scallops, prawns, local fish, mussels, the works. The chorizo also stood out from the pack, perfectly seasoned and not overly greasy, a frequent oversight at many Spanish-inspired restaurants. The drinks were delicious and the service - particularly the bar tender - was friendly, accommodating and had a wide range selection of high-quality rums. The best meal in Port Douglas.

Food delicious! We tried several of the tapas dishes and all were beautifully cooked and very tasty especially the bravas calamari and chorizo. Service very friendly. Must make a booking because they are very popular. We came back again after discovering this place on our holiday last year. Just as good as we remembered! Thank you.
