This is a great pension about midway from the train station into the old town of Salzburg, on the same road actually, and it goes almost straight into the old part.
I recommend it because considering the location, the large room, (and large bathroom), the generous breakfast, free parking and super friendly staff, it is a fantastic deal.

It's a Basic Bed and Breakfast. Crammed rooms, good breakfast spread.. very close to Salzburg train and bus station

Lovely hotel- room was spacious- staff is extremely friendly and took much time explaining us where to go. Continental breakfast and good value for money. I would highly suggest if you are looking for a 3 star and if you are on a budget

Conveniently located near train station, staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were not comfortable, pillows were wafer thin, walls not soundproof and rude people talking on their phone at five in the morning were particularly annoying.

Hotel staff were lovely and the hotel is very well situated for access to the downtown, though the immediate vicinity is rather seedy. Walls are very thin, though hotel staff did go around asking people to turn down their music at night. Beds are not very comfortable, unfortunately. Breakfast was okay, but the drink options are vile.

Great base for getting around the city. Breakfast was always delicious and never ran out of anything (except to restock occasionally). Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money.

It it located not far from the central station. The rate is affordable but the room is rather small. It takes about 15-20 mins to walk to Mirabell palace. The breakfast is good and the staffs are friendly. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay on budget and spend time outside.
