UHS is organized and do have friendly staff and Drs (but lack to qualifications and procedures)! And due COVID19 insurance and hospitals must find away to cover pcr tests regardless patient health insurance if it's covered or not!
Although our health insurance covers the long pcr test that takes 2 days! but didn't cover the urgent one which is almost 350AED. And this is crusial in such a case!
We've asked the Dr to do the long one anyway because I felt my 8 months daughter has the symptoms even we were all negative , Dr didn't insist as he's sound like it's optional and up to your health insurance if it's covered we said will pay regardless but it's covered !
. He said what she has is VIRAL and will do her nibulaizer and nothing to worry about! Knowing their ER rooms are opened to the next rooms and by doing this COVID-19 will be spreaded and even healthy kids next to my daughter could be infected !
When we went late night when the results came out another Dr was surprised about her college procedure and she gave her dexa injection and nibulaizer in isolated room!
My father had a successful heart surgery at University Hospital Sharjah with Dr Ahmed Obaide. Nurse Joana and other nursing staff gave excellent and professional service throughout our stay. We recommend this hospital to everyone. Thank you
Nice hospital. Nice staff.
Love the cleanliness, spacious place.
Dr was kind and even called later to keep check.
Very nice service. Alot of parking available.
I have good experience, they treat me nicely.
Excellent Facility with professional staff. All the best to team UHS and the management
I am changing my review from 1 to 3 stars after number of years.. The hospital improved.
There is nothing more than a awesome, ENT Dr. Ziad raji what a personality such an amazing person, the supporting staff doing such an amazing coordination. I have no words to explain because i went for emergency they treated me well more than i expected in an hospital. Keep going all the very best to you all, Allah bless you!
In general, nurses and doctors are kind and well informed to their patients. But whoever sitting in the reception well, so thats why i removed 1 star. They are so slow, not even say hi or how can i help you.
We went to Himchan spine and joint center, it was REALLY great! Beyond expectations. Nice facilities, so clean, well organized.
Great ambience and the cleanliness keeps the college compound differs from others. Each and every corner kept clean and tidy and not a single fault you can find here. Such a great nature,s beauty takes you back to your hometown. Thank you Sharjah University Management and the Government to keep the city clean and tidy. This was my first visit and love to come back
If there were 7 stars, I would give it!!!
On the fortnight of July 2020, I came to know that my wife is pregnant, we were very happy and excited.
Following day I took my wife to University hospital, Sharjah for examination. The first impression was amazing, the hospital is enormous and luxurious, more like a 5-star hotel, security, receptionist and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We consulted Dr Ameenah Saadi, she made us feel comfortable and took the time to answer all our queries every appointment. She is highly experienced, professional and friendly, the best doctor we have ever known.
We wanted our child's delivery at University Hospital by Dr Ameenah Saadi, #1 hospital and doctor in Sharjah. However, our insurance is not covered for delivery. Our final visit was on 8th February 2021
We would recommend University hospital, Sharjah and Dr Ameenah Saadi to other patients. God bless you & your family doctor.
Worse place ever to work at ! Most Employees are lost. and doesn't know how to take care of their employees. The employees themselves keep telling you to not work here cuz of the bad management process they go through. Plus the work environment is thumbs down for sure !. This place is not worth it.
I did my training at the department of laboratory, University Hospital Sharjah.
My experience was great with the friendly staff and had hands on experience until being able to work independently.
I was in regular contact with the person incharged of the training program at the UHS education center to assess in my MOH application process, rotation between departments, comments, etc; she was always welcoming, respectful, friendly and patient.
Best regards to all staff and colleagues at UHS.
I as a medical student studying in Germany had a one month training program at the University hospital of sharjah. I contacted Houria Alamiri from the education department responsible of such programs with her help and all other staff member of the department. although being a foreign student i was welcomed and helped from all staff members including leading doctors.
I enjoyed and benefited alot from my experience at the UHS. The hospital is well equipped and modern.
Provides excellent and quality care to the patients, all the hospital staff are approachable and passionate with their profession.
Very productive and dynamic working conditions so you must be up for the challenge. It is well worth if you can adapt.
Really nice place to do your training due to the amazing people who works their specially the education department, you will never get as much attention as from any other places.
I did my 6 month license training in the clinical pathology and laboratory department and it was one of the best hands on learning experiences i had. The staff was very helpful in providing information and explaining the concepts for me in each and every rotation I did. Special thanks to miss houria al amiri from the education department, she helped my alot through my learning journey and had tips and solutions for all the obstacles i passed through. Along with dr. Majd the head of lab and Dr. Mohammad the clinical pathologist.
Very bad for emergency pay more and found bettar doctors !!
All doctors in this Hospital are total trash.. ICU chief Dr. Mamoun is a family medicine failure and my father killer. they dont have neither single Emergency specialist nor consultant. only retarded Gps. Their medical decisions ain't better than medical students or nurses. The doctors won't tell you what they are doing. your confidentiality is violated. No Autonomy. No beneficence. It's all about Maleficence. the only thing they will care about the most is your money in which will be theirs.
my advice is never ever trust this hospital. go with your guts.
Fancy hospital but the doctors although friendly and nice people but have no idea what they are doing
My experience at this hospital was terrible. The doctor that I met with was more interested in receiving private calls and texting throughout our short consultation. He was not able to clearly explain my results and was evidently not ready for my appointment. He kept asking questions about information I had already provided, clearly he was not paying attention to what I was saying. Overall, the gastroenterologist department at UHS is way below average. No stars deserved. Complaint to director will be submitted. Sad that more care is given to valet parking.
Not a place I want to go to. I once went to the ER with high BP "dangerously high" and had to wait for more than 2 hours. The staff are not experienced and don't know how to deal with visitors. Won't recommend it at all
I justed visited it to see a friend not to get treatment, the building and the decoration is nice and when i visited it, it was not crowded
Hi everyone
Well I am frequent user of the University hospital of Sharjah as a hospital it is well organized, clean, spacious, average priced charges and have easy parking.
I don't like to judges hospital main by doctor as that is not fair I have visited as least 5 different doctors in the last 12 month and I can say they are all good and excellent apart from one who was averaged.
I do recommend the hospital and please research the doctor reviews on the internet for better chooses
Wish all to get well and healthy soon
The worst hospital ever. It has all medical equipment, but medical staff severely lacking experience. Emergency doctors are the worst.
Waiting for more than 40 minutes in the emergency clinic, they need to hire more doctors not to mention u also have to wait for cashier which took me more the 30 minutes just to pay for the pharmacy
Nice place and facility very very very bad doctors in emargncy or other clinic I think you need to pay more salaries to found batter doctors .. pay more you will get more I don't trust any doctor there for me or family
Emargncy is very bad I think if you keep your son in or any one of your family in house batter than send there ..
Am sorry HHDsultan spend a lot for this hospital to make it the best
Good hospital. Facilitated. Poor followups and lack of doctors on weekends.
