My partner and I stayed at this hotel for four nights as part of our backpacking trip. The personnel were helpful and our room was clean. The hotel has a modern and nice interior. I am eurpean so im not used to the toilets in this area, but it took a big amount of time to flush down my stool as the power of the flush is so weak. It was a bit annoying. The window in my room was broken so that hot air swept in to the room and made it hotter. It was fine by me but my partner complained to me about it. The surroundings of the hotel is boring and the distance to beaches and attractions are not walkable. Luckily Its easy to find taxis wich has an affordible price. There is also a metro-station and a supermarket nearby. The hotel offers free (but not very flexible) transport to a beach and a great mall, but not to the main attractions wich lies in Downtown Dubai and the beaches further west. I am giving this hotel four stars considering that it was cheap.
The price is fair and location is very good but the food is so not good. I do not recommend booking with breakfast or asking for room service since the kitchen needs a lot of enhancement . However the location is close to many places that offer delivery and early morning breakfast .
I stayed there for 5 nights and as per my openion the place is ok not bad but the rooms are too small dosent suite a family and the bathrooms are large and the staff are nice but slow service and clean room and ok kitchen but not suppose to put knifes in low drawers because of children .
The hallways outside the rooms smells bad
Over all i give 3 not more because of no security camera in parking area and small rooms and smelly hallways and
Need some more improvments like new LED tv.
The worst hotel in my life to be honest
-booked for twin but ended up 1 queen bed and they couldn't change the room for a week. Needed to sleep on the floor for a day
-my shoes got stolen, no compensation
-room was not clean
The only good point is that the hotel is situated at a quiet area
Worst hotel I have ever stayed. If you want to ruin or spoil your visit to Dubai stay in this hotel.
Furniture: Dirty, Broken and Old
Bed: Very uncomfortable
Windows: Not sound proof, Too much noise
Room Service: Very lazy, You need to call 3 to 4 time then they will come in 1 hour
Washroom: Very dirty, clogging in the washbasin and bathtub
Parking: Very dirty and stinky
Atmosphere: There is bad smell in the corridors, lifts and lobby.
Misleading pictures of hotel: All the pictures available on different websites are misleading because these pics were taken long long time back when it was new but now everything in the pictures is broken, dirty and old.
Staff: Reception staff have attitude. If you complain for any of the above problems, they will argue with you instead of solving the issue.
Staff in the front desk are so rude, thy have a weird rolls thy don't allowed visitors to my room. I have visited many hotels around the world first time I heard about this role visitors are not welcoming in their apartments. If you you want to invite your friends or cousin you are not allowed!!!
Not recommend it at all.
Plus apartment not very clean and has bad smell.
Booked 1 Bed Room apartment. Bad rooms, toilet & service. Earlier in 2014 I stayed here it was good, but this time it's worse.
Stayed in studio apartment for 2 days. The room was quite big and quite near to metro station. Would definitely like to stay again
Very friendly hotel, great location near the international airport. They have a super swimming pool with the best lifeguard in the world. He is very friendly and professional I highly recommend
Nice place with parking, the staffs are friendly good internet connection. But they have old TV with very few channels to watch. The metro is walking distance.
Not a great place if you will need assistance from hotel staff. If you do not probably a good option to consider since can access any needs within minutes. Comfy beds and cozy rooms..
It was very nice experience. All team are so kind and helpful. Specially guys from reception and Andrew from restaurant. Spend there one month and they have made me feel like really at home! Fully recommended.
I and my family spent a few days of our stay in this Hotel Appartments. The good things first: Awesome staff!! Very friendly, kind and they take your complains very serious. During our stay in different hotels, this had the best location, very good Wifi, good view from the balcony. The rooms are large, but do need maintance and that is the only negative thing.
Nice hotel room, friendly staff, although I reached early and it was full they managed to give me room to stay on my request.
1 star only for the view and the size of the room.
Good:
View
Size
2 bathroom
Big balcony.
Cheap
Good location
Bad:
No slipper
The tub is dirty
They charge us 40 dirhams because the towel is dirty (which can be clean easily for sure)
There is bed bug.
Balcony is too much dirty.
Parking is too small it is very hard to park and to go out.
There is no guard to open the parking you have to go down ur car and ask them to open it.
I don't recommend this hotel. Flora is way better but copthorne is the best hotel in that location.
The location is really great and attentive staff
At ideal location, Located near to deira city centre and deira metro station, over all good experience, room service staff not cooperative, they need to train .
Buffet breakfast also need to improve and increase dishes.
Average apartment, quiet and clean but the service a little bit slow and bad
I booked a room with king size bed but when reached there the bed was queen,
Breakfast was not included as mentioned in Guest Room Amenities you have to pay $10 additional for each.
WiFi is only for one device, mean one person at a time.
When I checked out they charged me $22 for sheet claimin there was blood stain n couldn't be cleaned.
No one answer late night call to order food or anything you need.
I gave one star just for location!!!
