The hotel staff was very friendly and provided for my needs. It was my home away from home for five days. The dinner was good with many choices. I always felt welcomed. The meeting room was complete and the rooftop pool refreshing.

Mövenpick hotel Al-Mamza is a great hotel only 15 minuts driving from down town. The rooms are big and very clean, it have a swimming pool on top of the hotel where you can have an amazing views. They treat the customers as a family and trying to help you with every thing.

I've been to the UAE several times, but this time i really felt at home. Everybody of the staff( Service desk, restaurant, swimmingpool, cleaners) had their share of making me feel extremely comfortable in a very hearty fashion. Here I like to mention Ahmed ( cook) and Jennifer( service) of the restaurant staff especially. Not to forget my trusty life guard at the pool( sorry , I didn't ask his name). I very much enjoyed the pool area. For me it was like relaxing in a garden in the middle of the buzzling city of Dubai. Even the other guests seemed to be more relaxed than other hotels.Even the children were better behaved so that an afternoon at the pool was more like a big family gathering. Travelling on my own it made me feel not so lonely during the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
P.S. The need for some small beauty repairs to building didn't lower the overall impression

I stayed here for 10 days while on business. I have very little nice to say. The rooms are not 100% clean and 2 of the nights the hotel's own staff kept me up till after 2am getting drunk with guests in the room next door to mine that I had to call reception more than once each night. Find another hotel to stay at.

    Need to improve.
Specially the reception staff (Ladies) need to understand the value of time and customer service.
The boys at front reception was really good.
Overall good experience from room to swimming pool, gym and restaurent.
Should focus a bit on breakfast. Less options for vegans.
Should arrange some parties like the other branch near city centre.

    THANKS

Horrible service; they told us we couldn't check in until a later time even though they clearly stated otherwise on their website. The rooms were horrible; mould and weird stains everywhere. With all that said, the staff were lovely and tried their best to improve our experience

Be careful when you book this hotel through booking website. What happened to me was that I booked this hotel by using booking app and I chose to pay once I arrive. Once I arrived, I was finishing the check-in when the receptionist told me that my reservation was cancelled sine I did not pay the bill online. I showed him my confirmation email that I got from booking but he said if you wanna this room the price will be twice more than booking rate!!!!!!

Unfortunately I was one of my very bad experience, I have booked directly using the "Entertainer voucher" the had give me a price for "Buy one and get another one for free" I used that voucher for two nights, when i come for second voucher for another two nights the supervisor she had give a higher price, when I request to speak to Manager, an Indian person reply to me very rode accent saying "We discontinue this system from today?!" and just imagine before a minute if I agree with receptionist it would have been done!.
Furthermore, though I'm give a higher class room, but the towels looks dirty or very old, water was leaking out from the bathtub, it was good that a chance is given to me to try where else, as I booked in 3 star hotel, and it was a fantastic comparing your hotel of 5?

In short I would say, "Hotel business is a hospitality before anything else, and this part was totally missing in some new idiot mentalities"

    Thank you.

The staff are friendly enough but the breakfast was poor. On the 1 evening we dined I was told that the Pizza has run out? How is that possible especially at 7pm?. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the few cafe's and restaurants (4 in total) were uninviting and just full of men. No women to be seen hardly anywhere and my fiancè felt very uneasy. Especially when we caught the metro and she had to go in the 'women' only carriage. Swimming pool is on the top floor with no refreshments available (from anywhere in the hotel) enjoy a glass of wine or a beer? Forget it cost us 150 durims (approx £30) each way to the nearest place. (Hard Rock Cafe) the supermarket sells pork for 'non muslims' so surely a cheeky bottle of wine won't upset anyone ? Sorry. But we won't be returning.

It was a great stay. Rooms were amazing with awesome facilities. I would specially thank the Staff who made my stay even more comfortable. Ibrahim from the reception to Ahmed on the travel desk and restaurant staff to the room service staff. Every one was very polite and helpful. The location of this hotel is a USP, AL Mamzar beach park is very approachable and hotel provides free shuttle service.

A perfect place to stay when in Dubai.

Thank You Again. Movenpick Hotel Staff!

Had a great stay, room was nice and clean, bit of wear and tear, but that is to be expected of an apartment style complex.

    The Good:
    - Big Rooms
    - Underground parking
    - Generous with amenities (bottled water/shampoos)
    - Great service

    The Bad:
    - Housekeeping could be better, missed cleaning kitchen benchtop for a few days, missing towels, coffee creamer not stocked up etc
    - Staff at front desk made me pay the tourist fees upfront, and then gave me wrong change back
-Had to wait a while for the room to get ready , as tired tourists, not that fun.

    Overall though, good stay!

This place is just amazing. I spent a week at the hotel without a single complain. From the time we walked in, the hospitality was fascinating. Everything from the people, location, food, cleanliness and standard, is just on point. They definitely got my business back.

The wifi really sucks. Not fast at all. They really need to improve their WiFi connection at this hotel. Also the outdoor roof top pool was closed during my stay and when asked they said we can use the outdoor pool on back side of hotel but it's extremely hot 45+ celsius to use outdoor pool.

This is by far my worst 5 star hotel ive ever been at. They should make a 3 star instead. The lobby looks and feels like a 5 star and so does the spices restaurent. The staff in the dining area were the best seriously. The rest of the hotel should learn from them. The concierge guys are so pushy and do things even though i said no to them. The room i stayed in was so disgusting. There was grease everywhere. The toilet hadn't been cleaned for my whole stay. The bathtub was utterly a disgrace. There was hair and buggers everywhere. There were 3 cleaners inside and still not clean. The first 2 days I got all the towels. The 3 and 4 day i only got 2 towels and the last couple of days i had to ask for some towels. The bedsheets had hairs all over. There were stains. They changed it the next days first. One day they were inside to clean and the took my key card aswell. Seriously don't book here. Find a better place. Places like this make me not wanna visit again. How can Movenpick put there name for something like this. Never again.
