Perfect hotel for a romantic honeymoon. Staff is excellent, rooms are great, food is so delicous! You need to take bus/metro/taxi to get to the big tourist attractions, but the hotel has everything you need to relax for a few days. We will recommend this hotel to everybody we know!

Fantastic hotel that lived up to all the reviews I'd read about it beforehand.
Excellent staff throughout.
Stayed in an Executive Room and it was well worth it - Breakfast, extensive Afternoon Tea and Dinner basically included for the entire stay (including all drinks).
Will be my first choice next time I'm in Dubai.

The hotel was comfortable and the location was ok, however, the pool area was too small for the hotel, the staff on reception at check-out could have been friendlier. It wasn't entirely clear what was included in the All-Inclusive while staying at the hotel. The room's AC was very noisy and the executive room we were given was OK but the bathroom was very small and tight.

The food in the restaurants and the service was very good - a highlight from the stay.

Overall good but we would choose to stay elsewhere should we return to Dubai.

Room was perfect and every day cleaned.
A special thank to Georges for his kindness : we felt every morning welcome in the executive restaurant for breakfast. He cares for everybody, takes time to ask how we are, of he can do something for us,really an important person in the hotel.
We found the restaurants in the hotel too expensive. There was also nearly nobody ( perhaps because so expensive?) which didn't encourage to enter.

The hotel facilities were wonderful. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beach club was easily accessed by the hotel shuttle and the beach was beautiful with beds and towels provided, also the pool and bar area were nice if you wished to sit under an umbrella out of the sun. There was a beautiful mall across from the hotel for some shopping or going for coffee. Would definitely stay again

Extremely impressed by the breakfast buffet. The overall experience was very good (room, swimming pool etc) but the breakfast buffet really was something else (and I’ve seen a few). Everything you could wish for, and all delicious as well. The only thing I could not find was apple juice, hence the 9 instead of the 10.

If you stay for the night, dont deprive yourself of this dream breakfast buffet in the morning.

Excellent hotel with great food and staff. Go all inclusive to experience all the restaurants and free drinks, the milkshakes are lush by the pool on the roof. Try the Shanghai Chic best Chinese restaurant for food and service Guana from Nepal with the great smile and customer service made our trip even better to the restaurant. Highly recommended. If you want sun all day no issues at the new free beach club.

A hotel in an industrial area. In the winter no sun at the swimming pool and also no sun in the other swimming pool at the beach club. A lot of shadow and in the summer its too hot.
The room view was at an energy plant. The hotel is situated a long way from the centre. It is a hotel for business man not for holiday!!!!

A real 5* hotel with all the facilities and customer care of 5* hotels around the world. International food is offered and delicious fresh juice is ready at any time. Rooms are spacious and clean. You can watch TV from the shower room through glass. I liked it very much. They only negative point is that it's expensive. Ibn Battuta Mall is next to the hotel room add a lot of value to the location.

This hotel really did not meet expectations nor its 5 star status in any way.
* Loud drilling very noisy in the morning.
* Rooms were dated and had a strange mouldy smell. Chips and stains on most on the walls and furniture. Kettle was broken and toilet made a whale-like noise every time it was flushed.
* Housekeeping was sloppy- amenities were not replaced when depleted and even when they were replaced they were wet from the canister not being cleaned or dried properly.
* View of power plant from the room was not scenic by any means.
* Location of the hotel is way too far from main attractions and you will find yourself losing time taking taxis everywhere. We were not ever told about the shuttle bus service to the larger malls by concierge nor did they bother to ask where we were going when we were calling for taxis.
With all these cons you would hope the service to be great but it was also underwhelming staff were pleasant enough but largely indifferent.
Save yourself the regret and book somewhere else as there are plenty more nice hotels in Dubai. I wish I did and after my experience would not stay here nor recommend to anyone!

Located right next to a very big shopping mall. Hotel is good, clean. Staffs are excellent. Services are excellent. A lady call Verna and a girl Ninta ( both work at the same restaurant) were superb.

We got great service and a free upgrade to the premium lounge, which was nice. Food and breakfast is nice and LOADS of choice. Porters are very helpful and we had lots of luggage and made them work hard but they were still pleasant and helpful. Also when we had guests they went the extra mile and opened up the premium lounge to us and even brought tea/coffee and other snacks. Very good service and not stuck up at all.

Movenpick was really great! The room was great, service was awesome, food was fantastic, I got this hotel because they had a good buffet package. My only issue was the distance from the main attractions in Dubai, we found ourselves riding in taxis a lot whereas had we stayed downtown we could have avoided a lot of traffic. But it was ok, I believe the price made up for the distance. Overall a very beautiful hotel!

Great hotel with very friendly staff who can't do enough to help you. Breakfast is amazing, so much choice and great quality. There's a mall just across the street and you walk through it to the metro or you can always get a cab at the front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We visited the Ibn Battuta Movenpick for a Friday brunch whilst passing through Dubai on the way back to England fun Australia. We used to live in Dubai so we know what makes a good brunch. Friends with children had recommended it because of the way the kids are catered for in terms of food and entertainment and we were not disappointed. They had a bouncy castle, face painting, another play area with slides etc, a separate room with kids food and films and another area with books and colouring in etc. The kids were well looked after and all the areas had staff in attendance. For the adults, the food was exceptional. Amazing seafood and the roasts were fabulous. All in all, highly recommended.

Very good service and the food is great , the rooms needs renewal old furniture no sufficient light in the rooms it is really too dark not a single light in the ceiling our bed sheet had tears on them which is not acceptable in 5 star hotel, in the positive side big room and good service

Okay, so I originally rated this place 4*, however, one person that truly made a difference and made me change my mind was the Best chef in the hotel: MANTU !! His skills truly stood out for me and pushed all of the negatives that I had about my experience to one side

I informed his manager that he needs to be paid more money and needs a rise in salary, this definitely needs to be considered.

The whole hotel is really clean, staff are very friendly and VERY attentive and well mannered.

I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Weather is great and so are the people here.

As soon as you arrive you know you are in a 5 star hotel. The Friday Brunch is a feast not to be missed. Hotel staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.
Upgrade to the executive lounge and take breakfast in quiet luxurious surroundings away from the busy main restaurant.

Big mistakeCheap ugly hotel. dark room no enough lights in the room hot AC the staff is horrible breakfast is horrible in room dining very slow and the they brought my main course cold..i think this hotel need rearrangement taking the benefit of the big mall beside them to attract people is working so farbut im not sure for how long

Booked the hotel on hotels combined. Very misleading images. This is not near the water and in fact it is a 25min transfer to beach club. Hotel inside is nice but not overly luxurious compared to other dubai hotels. Our main complaint is that it is located across the road from a power plant! To be honest I expected more from the movenpick brand. We will not be rushing back. Oh and no balcony in rooms too.. although that's probably a good think unless you want to see Homer Simpson across the road working at Springfield power plant!

We stayed here right after our wedding for four days and it was excellent in every way.

When it comes to staff they are very well trained and polite. Cleanliness was top notch. Service was superb.

Our room was on the 7th Floor (turkey). The rooms are very spacious and very well laid out. Bathroom was fantastic, I liked every thing about it.

My only complaint about the room was there is a huge gap between the main door for the suit and the floor, anything that happens in the hallway you hear it in the room. I actually had to have a little talk with the manager regarding the cleaning people being too loud at 9am

overall I highly recommend it!
