The hotel is nice, the rooms are large with good view and it's centrally located. But the hotel policies really suck. You are not allowed to have visitors in your room whether male or female. Especially if you have a male friend visiting they will make a big deal and not let him upstairs. I had friends who were a couple and they stayed in the same hotel too. My friend's husband happened to pick up the intercom when reception called me and I was interrogated as to why a man picked up the phone in an all girls room!!! So the entire experience totally sucked

Good hotel.
Good service.
Nice rooms.
Not too much of a good view.
Cheaper than a lot of hotels in the same area.
The rooms have their own kitchen.
The problem is that the hotel is a bit crowded.

It is a good hotel at very good location. Just 2 minute walking distance from Financial Centre Metro station.
I stayed in a studio room which was a lot bigger than I expected. It was clean, modern and I thought it was great value for money. I would not hesitate staying here again.response / report this review -

It was nice experience in Dubai. But i was very disappointed with the working of the staff. I entered the hotel around 2:00 am in the night and was not feeling well. Despite of my request that i am suffering from fever the hotel staff took one and a half hour to give me my room. And the gave me a room with two single bed. Didn't understand their situation.
That what was the reason in the middle of the night for delaying. Rooftop is not at all good. Basic hotel. Given high ratings for no reason.response / report this review -

The location is very convenient, no parking onsite only valet parking available. I've been upgraded to 1 bedroom suite but the suite was a bit old and need a lot of renovation starting from the bathroom to the kitchen appliances such as the water kettle, tiles floor and couches. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Location bang on financial Center metro. As for the hotel it’s spacious compared to more expensive ones. Service is very poor none bothers whether you walk in or walk out no greets, no one to pick bags, it’s all self service. Rooms are spacious equipment’s very old. I got an upgrade to a premium room. Tvs don’t turn on .. utensils were not cleaned had lipstick marks .. I’ll prefer to avoid this next time.

Very nice location to stay in Dubai. Hotel has nice family suites foe four adults. Staff are very cordial and helpful. Service can be a bit slow mainly because of crowd and levels of occupancy. The rooms were a shade less maintained for which i reduced a rating. Needs refurbishment in patches. Breakfast is a Good fare. Very decent.

I am having such a bad experience in one place. Elevator system is horrible, you wait so long to get to where you want to go, there is no flexibility. Breakfast venue was a mess, on Christmas day, they opened little space for breakfast and they said the other space was reserved.for who, for what, if not their customers? Only one person is helping at the breakfast omelette and egg station. For so many people? Why? We booked and they know how much people they are expecting and should have been prepared accordingly to make their customers feel comfortable. We just grateful that we had a place to sleep that’s all.

Busy hotel, but the rooms are big compared to other hotels and look like apartments. Every room has a kitchen. The breakfast buffet was normal. The lunch buffet they serve in the ground floor was nice, but it doesn’t include any beverages, not even water. Parking valet is included and most importantly free Wifi 😁

Don't let the grand in the name fool you. This is a cheep hotel. Beware of the lower floors where the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Hotel services is laughably unreliable. In the 3 weeks I stayed there there was only two days that I had a towel, a bathmat and a hand towel. Some days you had two bathmats and no towels, other days they would take all you towels away leaving you with nothing, one day I had nine hand towels and nothing else. My room was on the second floor which was very loud do to the traffic on Sheikh Zayed road (again the higher floors are better). There were also spot lights designed to light the building facade at night that shown into my room, unfortunately the blinds were not large enough to cover the window and the lights shown into my eyes all night. As for amenities, the gym is a joke, it is so small that no more than two people can use it at a time and the pool is only open for the hours most people are at work.

The hotel is very near to Khalifa tower and mall of Dubai, and near to city center. Just 2 minutes walking from a metro station. Room keeping service is excellent, special thanks to Harinder who actually took care of my apartment, always clean and shining. everyday in my long stay is just like first day.response / report this review -

Customer service doesn't exist here, rang up reception number of times for a request as it is my girlfriends birthday wanted to surprises here with flowers and room service. all they wanted to do is pass me on to guest and hospitality team which for some reason seems to be on lunch all day. No help at tall, number of times they mentioned there will be additional cost which i am happy to pay for. Very disappointed

This may have once been the grand hotel as the name suggests but it's due for a bit of an overhaul in terms of maintenance and style. The suites are very generous in size and have everything you need. The rooftop swimming pool and seating area is a great addition to the place but closes to early to be enjoyed at night when you want it. The internet speed is also rather slow. But it's very conveniently located right by the metro and it has nice views from the roof right to the beach

From the welcome of the dying red roses, and the incredibly slow check-in process, to the two very slow elevators to our one bedroom flat, which was enough for two, because there was no sofa sleeper to sleep additional people. It is really in need of a serious deep cleaning, at least it had a view of industrial, finance and Burj Arabie and close to the mall. The toilet sprayers were absolutely disgustingly filthy in both bathrooms. Bathrooms were in need of a thorough cleaning. Pictures in all advertisements are very misleading for this place. The flat was not adequately stocked with dishes, silverware, drinking cups and toaster had wrong size plug for outlet. Very disappointed. Very..Roof top pool and cabanas were old and dirty, including pool. Valet was always prompt, so that is a plus.

The room was spacious with small cooking and dining area. Do not has the full services house keeping services, but the staff is helpful and responsive.
Breakfast at high floor, can has a panoramic view of Dubai. and buffet items is reasonable good too.
The lacking is the lift services is need to wait long during rush hours.

irresponsible staff , I have been calling on the contact number provided on the website to make a reservation as there is no response on the email ID provided ( info @ emiratesgrandhotel ) on the website too. When called the lady transferred the call and the operator says its the reservation of the apartment , call again, called again the informed the lady , she transferred the call the again the operator says i have called the wrong department, transferred my call and made me wait for 10 minutes on an international call with no response. I dont think I should even take a chance to book this hotel if this is the professionalism at this property.

It's pretty nice, rooms are big and clean. Staff is nice and helpfull. On the bad side don't expect modern and fresh from it. Best years had passed for this place. Could use a special touch. Location is really nice, close to Dubai Mall metro and the airport.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pool and sauna area. Wheelchair accessible. Good service but no breakfast included. Kitchen with basic untersils available. Near supermarkets and metro. Restaurants nearby.

Everything inside rooms are from past years.
Only the name is 5 star hotel, but I know some 4 star hotels those are like this one.
House keeping is good.
There were not every needed things in the room.
Rooms view are good. Access to Dubai other places is wonderful. Breakfast is good.response / report this review
