I love the fact that I can use the gym in fitness first 7/7. No restrictions, therefore NO EXCUSES!!
Many options for branches in Dubai, but the best to me is DMC branch, For the presence of competent, supportive and encouraging trainers like, Nemanja Nedović “Shaun”, Đorđe Todorović & Miloš Ivanović, they are so brilliant and so enthusiastic, encouraging everyone to extend themselves and they are thrilled when someone accomplishes something new.
I've been with FF since 2007, and I have never seen a such trainers as you.
much respect for you Guy's and thank you for being a part of FF DMC.

If you have ever been to this gym. It is a sauna. The air condition never works. At least keep the gym at room temperature. Maybe fitness first management thinks we won't notice the temperature is above 27 degrees Celsius. Seriously guys pls fix the air conditioning. And ffs don't get me started on the 90 minute parking limit. It's a joke. I'm extremely dissapointed in fitness first. More like 'costs first' fitness first my bum

Could be a lot nicer!
Went today and was told the pool is not available for maintenance, yet no information about this is posted anywhere. The weights area has bad ventilation and smells. Cleanliness and smell of the changing room leave a lot to be desired..

Real shame as this could be a better place with some care and attention.

Nice, big, well equipped gymnasium. It sports a 25meter open swimming pool, which is rarely busy. On the other hand, the free weights, machines and cardio areas are almost always crowded.

gym is spacious and nice, too crowded between 6-8. about the showers, they look clean, but few days ago I noticed a deodorant cap in the shower for 3 days. so I am not sure they clean the showers every day other than wiping the water away.

This club is a joke.
90 min free parking after 20 aed
In heavy disrepair, water pressure is a trickle, weight room is very small and becomes cramped during evenings, not well maintained and hardly cleaned. Selection of equipment is poorest of all FF clubs

The facilities at Fitness First Media Centre are obsolete and run down, albeit quite clean (except the showers). The saunas are very small and the steam room does not work properly most of the time.

Management is very poor. The gym is always messy. Taps don't work. They cannot enforce a cleanliness policy at the gym. The weights are scattered everywhere during gym hours. Also, customer safety is not a concern for management, the locks for the bar don't fit correctly and the weights keep sliding while working out posing a risk for the person working out and the people around him. Staff don't listen.

FRAUD:: The outdoor swimming pool has no heating and since mid October he water is FREEZING. Now it's impossible to swim. The management does not inform about it when you are to join the club. it's cheating!!

I was a member for 3 years. For the same money you can get a better value elsewhere, especially abundance of gyms in the Al Qouz area. The gym has a very commercial feel to it and it is just inconvenient to train there. When you try other places you will know what I mean. Many wannabe muscle-builders who take over the equipment in the weight lifting area like they own it. Pool is nice, showers aren't always clean, changing room is good. Service is just okay. Even after I asked them not to call me as I won't be needing a gym in Dubai anymore, they kept calling me once every couple of months so I blocked their number. Their marketing strategy is too tacky.

Overall great. As highlighted by someone showers are annoying as only hot wasted comes out. Definitively a recurrent. The rest is good.

Pros
The Gym is huge (a la Trump 😋) and well equipped
The cycling studio is awesome compared to other studios of other FF branches
It has a swimming pool (I didn't try)
Huge parking area in front of the building (paid), you can get parking passes from front desk (valid for 90mins, but you need to have them ahead of your visit)

Cons
Interior design is strange (to accommodate all available area) but due to that, you could get lost and have to think your way around.
Showers are too few for the estimated clientele size

I rented a cabinet and paid for one year extra money. After the expiry they removed my valuable cloth and other expensive gadgets and no one knows where they are. Somebody was supposed to call today but what do you expect. This is the worst gym ever now. I am a member since it opened more than 10 years back and canceling my membership from today. The last change in ownership made the GYM cares only about your credit card. I advice any remaining members to move to other gyms as there are many good ones.

This gym will never learn as it is run by unqualified staff and management. I told cleaner multiple times not to clean the toilets and than move the same cleaning pad outside into the shower rooms. Just dirty gym also.
