I applied for my minor kids visit visa back in October 2022. Today it’s been 3 months and still no update . Myself and my husband have valid Canada visit visa . Don’t know what to do or whom to contact. Back in 2018 we got the visa approval in 7 days. Please help

I applied for a visa RENEWAL, it s been pending since February 22!! That s unbelievable. When I complained through the webform several times, I had to wait for 2 months to get a reply saying that due to covid19, the workforce has been reduced but what Covid19 are they talking about ?! It s over ages ago. And I know so many people who applied way after me and got it in 2 months maximum. During this 10 months that I ve been waiting, so many things changed in my life that I declared in my application (my address, city, occupation, family members, income, outcome, whatever come come ooon guys. I even asked them to cancel it and let me try over, but nobody cares about our complaints.

I have dealt with the Embassy of Canada several times for passport renewal matters, very professional and friendly every time. The process was smooth and the renewal time was complied with as stated on the citizenship and immigration website. That said, I was very impressed during my last interaction with the embassy, especially Ms. Tala and not only her but everyone else, went our of their way to assist with an urgent passport matter. Very satisfied with both the service and the communication and interaction.

Very disappointing. The closest I was able to visit the embassy was the security guard on the ground floor. He said that they don't accept any form of communication from people in need of help other than sending webform. Unfortunately, you won't get a reply from them even after sending the webform. After receiving a quick response but rejection through the general category, I reapplied for my study permit using the SDS category because of the shorter time duration of 20 working days that was specified it would take, compared to the 12 weeks for general category. 9 weeks later and I have zero response. It was better to apply through general because apparently general category students are hearing back sooner nowadays. My classes started yesterday and I'm still stuck here. I will be losing my fellowship and will have to plan to defer or most probably withdraw because of additional university complications. The worst part is that you do hear people getting responses, but you still receive no response and you can't help but wonder if something is wrong with you or if the system is playing a sick joke on you?! Preparing for a Canadian education is a long and difficult process which I started on August 2021. So basically one year has just gone down the drain. 🥲 I put everything in pause in my life for this. I understand that a lot of people apply each year to study and work in Canada. But I really hope that this process can be made quicker with a better customer support system. Not knowing what's happening to your application is stressful and we just need answers so that we can revise our plans rather that sit around waiting indefinitely for the decision to come.

A bunch of liars , during the immigration interview the officer clearly informed me that I'm accepted so as a Lebanese who live and work in Saudi Arabia I resigned from my job and travelled to Lebanon to be prepared for immigration then I got a refusal letter through email , currently mine & my family's residential cards of Saudi Arabia are expired I lost my job and my future is in doubt, thanks Canada for doing this to me .

Worst Embassy I ever had to deal with. It has been over 55 days and my tourist visa is still being processed.
They do not respond to emails and you cannot reach them by calls. They still have my passport.response / report this review -

Worst Embassy I ever had to deal with. I am so surprised as I generally always get my tourist visa in 2-5 days and have never experienced such an issue. It has been over 40 days and my tourist visa is still being processed. They do not respond to emails and you cannot reach them by calls. I had already booked everything and had to cancel it. They still have my passport. I am shocked at their service. It would be better if they did update whether your visa is rejected or not so you can have the time to adjust your plans. Not Canadian standard AT ALL. very disappointing as all my plans got ruined.

I am Canadian living and working in Dubai..I have applied for my wife for visitor visa to join me on vacation to canada. ..40 days with the only message .in progress. ..even as citizen of canada there is no way to get any information from embassy.this is not the Canadian way

Worst embassy to deal with. Don't even reply emails on time. Canadian government should take action against them. They are making bad name for Canada. Its been more than 1 and half month, i have not received any update about my visa. I have received my US visa in 2 working days and Candian VIsa is taking almost 2 months but with no updat. Really worst Service which i have never seen in the world.

First off, if you want to get to the Embassy do not set the destination as such on your Google navigation. Upon reaching in the area, where the Embassy is located the navigation malfunctions. It seems that the roads have been changed. Set Abu Dhabi Mall as your location. The Embassy is in the tower located next to the mall. There is an entrance from the mall. Also, it seems that the application process has been changed and they are taking much longer to process applications compared to before. They no longer entertain visa applicants at the Embassy like before. The guards at the door are helpful but ultimately they can only do so much. They won't allow you to meet anyone inside. Mine was a tourist visa application and I've waited three weeks for an answer, and it seems that I can look forward to some more waiting Its bad if you have a booked tickets and all (like me).
