Everything worked really well to renew my passport. All Brazilian staff were helpful and gave me all attention. If you do what's required and take all necessary documents, you will not face any problems to get your document on same day. The thing is people complaint without be prepared to go the embassy. All necessary requirements and info are available in the site.. even for emergency cases..

I've been to quite a few embassies/consulates and this one was very quite.
At this embassy Very rude, arrogant and hubristic staff.
They've a set of answers which they'll give you which is very unprofessional.
They'll never help or advise you on missing documents if any.
They reject applications without any reason or justification.
I went there around four times and everytime saw someone quarrelling with the staff because of their rude behaviour even Brazilians weren't entertained the way they should be(it's their embassy.)
I am surprised they don't have any complaint/a peal system. It looks like their salaries are being paid by the visa applications.
No wonder embassy looks like haunted house.

Got rejected twice to get visa to travel to brasil with my fiance including my old parents got rejected too for no reason. they couldn't even tell us what documents specifically I need to apply again.

It takes 14 days fro Brazil visit visa. Very simple process apply online get an appointment. Pay visa fee in National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Only that person on reception will review you paper and give you date. Simple process. Usually quite.

Terrible experience. I was planning a trip to Brazil-Peru and I wanted to know if I require yellow fever vaccination in order to enter Brazil from Peru.The person who picked up the phone was very rude and said he didn't know. When I asked for another number or to speak to another person he said only this one is available and if I don't like I should complain and he hunged up the phone on my face. I called back to ask his name, he refused to give me his name and he said ''complain, complain''and he hunged up the phone on my face for second time!!!! I called back for second time and nobody was picking up the phone! It would be nice if you put civilized people in the correct positions!!! Very disappointed! You should respect tourists that they are coming in your country to spent their money there!

They were used to be so helpful. now i am trying to call them since a week and no one answers. all what i know is that they r employed and receive salaries to help Brazilian here in UAE.
