Good facilities, worth for payment
You can stay calm.. i suggest if you get best price..
In the middle of the town a dirty hotel, where you will just feel a bad smell. Outside area is very much crowded, not recommended for family stay.
Overall its a nice hotel..little bit outdated but acceptable..rooms are spacious..we stayed at 2nd floor so pub noise was not that disturbing..pub, bar and restaurant available at the hotel..lobby becomes busy during weekends..car parking is available but not so close to hotel and the watchman at parking space is so rude..he don’t know how to behave with human..except that guy rest everything is good for the money
Booked for single king size bed but got 2 separate queen size beds and did not even inform me of the changes.
Also, there is noise pollution from the sound coming from their club downstairs, too loud that I couldn't sleep at night.
Aside the above, it's a good place and no problem parking my car.
Extreemly good hotel, with good facilities
Travel heights The best agent I ever seen i would say..starting from small thing they guide us in perfect way where we even didn’t face a nip of problem ..it was amazing trip guide by travel heights..yu would never regret.thanks a lot
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, room was big and noisy at nights because of night club sound.
Most of employees were very rude and unrespectful specially the leader in the restaurant. It was very annoying experience at last day for me when I was eating lunch in the hotel restaurants, the staff came to me without asking me about my room number he told me that you shouldnt have lunch in a rude manner and all lunch that you had are done. However I had the lunch booked, three times I said no I have and he said no you don't have :( It was really rude and annoying among having lunch, he checked the reception and left me without any apologize.
I hope the hotel manager take care about employing right people in the hotel.
Never come Back to this hotel again and not recommended.
The hotel photos in google maps are fake.
Scary unfriendly front desk staff esp. The guy named Noor.
Dirty, smelly, very old with mold on walls and rusty toilet.
Cockroaches in toilet.
Internet speed is slow 0.5 to 1mb
Car parking is 2km away from the hotel and you have to walk to the hotel back.
No complementary water or elecrtic kettle.
First word before hi was: family hotel, no guests allowed.
Doors squeak and noise after 10 pm because of the nightclub music and fights in the street as it's located in the middle of very old area inhibited by low income residents.
I won't come back ever to this hotel.
Very unpleasant place with billions of bacterias in the dirty floor of all the rooms and even worse staff. Stayed there for 9 nights. Telephone in the room had to be changed. No hot water for first 4 days . Shaver contact not working . Reception people and others shouted at us until we complained to the supervisor. Our stay was a nightmare.
I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The room was big and quiet, however, I'd hear some guests complaining about the disco noises. So I think I was lucky to get a quiet room. Most of the staff were friendly but some of them never gave me even a pale smile! ( specially the one in the dinner) haha! The hotel is so convenient. Less than 5 min walk to a subway station, lots of supermarkets, shopping centers and restaurants around.
I liked the hotel and I found the price reasonable too
Nice hotel. .good staff. .clean and big rooms
Nice and clean. Worth the price
it was a good hotel we stay there for 4 days .make sure you book hotel online to save money.there is no gym , swimming pool but it has different bars n clubs.the entry in those clubs is free if you have a girl but for boys you have to pay 100 dirham each.
It's a good place. Not family friendly as far as I can see. But the location it's good, close to the metro station and the price it's cheap.
An absolute brothel, the disturbing and disgusting "hump" of the club can be herd at 3am at the 4th floor which is the last one. The pakistani guy on night shift is cheeky and disrespectful providing terrible service. Do not book PLZ.
This is place where in evening time clubs are start.people are coming here for enjoy there life they come for see dance of girls.if they like them then they book them and bring with themself in their cars and enjoy whole night in their rooms.
Here every culture dance club like Arab people Indian people etc
I stayed there 1 night. Not far from the airport. They offer free shuttle to T1 & T2 at specific times - so that is good. The music from the clubs at the recepction level can be a problem if your room is at the lower floors. For the price you pay it is fine.
unprofessionals rude staff doesn't know how to speak to a customer. They need to learn that they are working in hospitality so be polite friendly. Very disappointed won't come back again..
Nice quiet place. Ambience is on point. Loved my stay at Dubai palm hotel. Excellent place.
Good place to live in but have a bar and dancing clubs so a bit noise everytime
I had already tried contacting the management to discuss these issues before writing this review, but I received no response.
This is a "three-star" hotel being run at a two-star (or less) standard. There's an absolute lack of communication and zero standards of customer service, especially by the daytime reception staff.
- I recall seeing each receptionist smile once in my whole two-day stay at Dubai Palm. The rest of the time they seemed grumpy and preoccupied with other work, even when they should have been paying attention to their clients. I've never seen this sour attitude in any other Dubai hotels or restaurants.
- I requested an early check-in by email and received no response. On arrival, I was finally told to wait until midday to check in.
- When they asked me to pay upon check-in, they told me a price that was higher than quoted. I understood this included the various taxes, but this was never explained. I watched them speak rudely to another guest who dared question this "addition". There was no diplomacy or politeness from that male receptionist; only a rude, abrupt attitude.
- I had to ask whether they intended to keep my passport at reception when they didn't give it back. I was told to collect it in half an hour. Again, no explanation why.
- Upon signing the agreement to stay, I noticed an "ALCOHOL PROHIBITED" clause included. This is not listed anywhere else on their material or rules, and it seems to be a pretext for kicking people out if they wanted. Ironically, this hotel has several clubs so I assume the clause refers to duty-free alcohol. They did not give me a copy of the signed agreement.
notice that I'm not even in my room yet
- I had asked for a double bed room, but they sent me to a twin room. I asked to change to a room that I had booked, and was told there were no other rooms available. My main concern is that they didn't bother telling me that they'd checked me into a twin room.
- The hotel folder in the room mentioned a "fully stocked minibar", and on the outside of the minibar was a list of items and prices. The minibar itself was empty and old. There were no tea/coffee facilities, or even a kettle - this has always been a minimum standard in a real three-star hotel. When I ordered two beers via room service, I was charged a higher price than shown on the minibar menu (the menu prices already included taxes and service charges). The staff's excuse was "Sorry, but it costs more now." Poor communication once again, and expecting the guest to just accept it.
- The room wasn't filthy as such, but I could see the cleaners had done a lazy job of vacuuming. I binned several items left on the floor by previous guests.
- A number of the handles, knobs and railings in both the room and ensuite were loose. I repaired them myself, and I wonder why a simple maintenance check isn't done regularly.
- In the evening, it is extremely easy to simply for outsiders to walk into the hotel and take the elevators up to the guest rooms. I've seen much better standards of security in other 3-star Dubai hotels. It is ironic that the hotel has a strict "marriage certificate" policy when checking in couples, but wouldn't look twice if you walk in withwell, anyone.
- The breakfast buffet lacked variety and was clearly done on the cheap. The "foul medamas" dish was actually tinned baked beans with pepper added. I watched four waiters chat at the counter for over five minutes before bothering to replenish the bread. On the second day I arrived at the beginning of breakfast service, and all of the "hot" dishes were COLD.
- At no time upon checking out was I asked how my stay was.
The worst part was the lack of communication between hotel staff and guests, made worse by a zero understanding of customer service. It's clear that the management simply doesn't care at all.
There are several other hotels around Al Muteena/Salah Din, and I recommend staying at those, even if it means paying a few more dirham per night. Avoid Dubai Palm Hotel - it's not worth it.
The staff at the hotel are moody. Breakfast is rubbish they serve cheap chicken nuggets. Who eats chicken nuggets in morning. The room smells of smoke. They only thing is good was the Internet connection and that I'm situated at the front 2nd floor so don't hear the loud music from the cheap nightclub. I would say spend a bit more. I would not stay here again. This is not a 3 star. I would rate as a 2.
Not much variety for vegetarian In This hotel. Hotel is not for family and couple. Hotel property serves Bar dance on 1,2 and groumd floor also. Desi Bar dance, Arabic Bar dance, Pakistan . Doesnt provide water in hotel
horrible place, breakfast is filthy, service too horrible, even if cheap dont take a chance,in the downsatirs full of girls preying on you, dont even take your families,in breakfast they give u rotten eggs and 10 days old chicken fries,if u dont believe me experience it,it really sucks
