This hotel is a little tired but ideally placed in the centre of the old town near the creek. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The room we had was great, very comfortable bed and a well appointed bathroom.
We had a great stay and loved Dubai. Thanks to your staff for giving us a complementary upgrade to an Executive King room for being our first stay.
Ask for room 702. Very roomy. It’s a quiet room on the back of the hotel with a view of the city.
Highly service oriented. Great staff everywhere. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. Great location for getting around. Across from Dubai museum. Easy to metro, also taxis and Uber. They offer two late check-out options if you have a late flight. Breakfast buffet is standard.
A nice place to stay. It is comfortable with its own restaurants. The staff are helpful and English is spoken. It is very handy for the museum and close to the historic quarter by the creek. However, there are few places to eat out close to the hotel, although there are some a bit more of a walk away. If you are wanting to stay somewhere more central to the modern part of the city, this is probably not the hotel to choose.
Hotel is located directly opposite from the Museum & a 5 minute walk from Dubai Creek where you catch the boats to Gold & Spice Souks. There are textile shops located here too if you want Pashminas etc. Also many gold shops in the vicinity. The hotel staff are very friendly, the room was large, clean & well equipped. Excellent shower. Decor is a bit dated but it added to the charm. The lifts function well. There is a gym & pool including several restaurants. Had a great Arabic meal in Pharoahs Restaurant where you can include alcohol which can’t be consumed outside at local restaurants as it’s a heritage area. The buffet breakfast excellent. It was busy & I was seated in a small room off to the left of the main dining area which was probably a previous smoking room so try & avoid if possible. Also easy to catch taxi to Dubai Mall. Overall would stay here again. Felt safe walking around as a solo female traveller.
This was the fourth time I stayed at this hotel and I found that the service has deteriorated drastically especially the housekeeping. We had to ask several times for toiletries and fresh towels and toilet paper before they were brought in. The toilet flush was not working properly, the sink was not draining and it was finally fixed after 4 days. One strange thing was that there was no hair conditioner available. Even a 2 star hotel has this. The wifi in the room was very very poor.
Stayed there for 4 nights. Very friendly staff with great service. The gym and pool were better than I expected. Very well equipped gym great food places and barbers all around the hotel.
In the old town of Dubai. Reasonably priced with large sized rooms. I didn't receive the same level of service as I had in other Dubai hotels.
My experience second time was not as great as my first time experience. First time was great and that's why I chose to stay here second time. This time I was given a poor and noisy room on the first floor and I absolutely hated it. But they changed it to a quieter room after I complained. Room was still smaller this time and on second floor. I normally prefer higher floors. Breakfast buffet is better than average. Location is close to markets and restaurants. But pick up and drop off lane is narrow. Valet parking is available. The Indian restaurant here has awesome food and music here though. Loved the experience there.
Good sized and recently upgraded room, convenient location and quite atmosphere here. Breakfast is not included but plenty of options just outside. Walking distance to multiples shops, easy access to cab for sightseeing. Will try booking the hop on-hop off tour and a desert safari from lobby. It will be nice if hotel can give complimentary breakfast and newspapers in the morning.
Parking is very difficult for this hotel, fortunately they have a very friendly VALET parking staff. The place looks very crowded. It it situated in one of the most populated area of Dubai.
I know you should leave a review only after the stay but i have just booked this hotel online will be arriving 19 Nov for 7 nights. i called the hotel for some information and would like to say the lady on the phone was so helpful. To me that's a good start, i am getting good vibes about this place i have done my home work read reviews and spoke to some friends who have stayed there in the past. will update you guys after my stay..
Excellent Rooms, Excellent Room Service, Excellent Food and Hospitality was Excellent. Staffs were very friendly. Definitely the best place to stay. Very near for Shopping places.
This hotel is a clear recommendation! The location is perfect, all staff members were very friendly and helpful, I also enjoyed a massage, the roof pool, and a snack at the pub besides traditional Arabian breakfast in the morning. The rooms are large, very clean and nicely decorated. I hope to come back one day to Dubai and I'll then would choose the "Arabian Courtyard" again for my accomodation. Without doubt 5 stars! Sukran!
A good 4-star hotel in not-luxury but-busy district of Bur Dubai. Service is normal and staff are nice and always smiling. Three Indian/Chinese/Arabian restaurants are in place but the variety of foods is limited. Pool in back yard is small but ok. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. I've been there in 3 different trips!
Stayed here for birthday! Enjoyed every day of my stay. Returning soon.
The Room was very noisy although I requested a silent room. I was charged around 50 AED more than the reservation said. Breakfast was okay. Staff is very very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport is for free and we'll organized. Room was tidy and clean.
Hotel has really good location. All the rooms are clean abd nice.
But the things I most like is the restaurant system here. Especially visitors can found the Egyptian cuisine in this place.
Very authentic hotel in a traditional style. Be aware that you are very close to mosques so will be woken by call to prayer. Very pleased we chose this end of town rather then the high rise modern. Small terrace with a few sun loungers and pool
The hotel ambiance is too good. The Mughal restaurant over there provided tasty foods. But, they promised to sent a cab to receive us at hotel and didn't kept the word. It's Ok, its easy to get a taxi from Dubai airport.
Very poor service. Complementary foods were rotten. I'm surprised for its having rated 4star hotel. Customer Service staff doesn't understand my needs of feels like the hotel management instruction to them is very strict them for cutting hotel cost down. Never refill toilet tissues daily and bath mat. Staffs seem helpless. Before flying from UK I did send email to hotel asking for more info regarding shuttle. But no answer even after 3 emails. No help for luggage help while we leaving. Really very bad standard. Do not get trap by seeing hotel 4 star rating. It's not what you expect. Charges are higher than UK's 4 star and service is like no where.
Check Name - Mr n Mrs Savania Date of booking from 25/03/2017 till 01/04/2017.. I hope that's the answer for your response
Good hotel, friendly staff, nice location however guest parking is an issue.
Clean place. My room was quite big. The good news there are plenty of lifts. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't pay extra for executive lounge, it's not worth it,you get only 3 alcohol free drinks in 2 hours, and a double counts as 2 drinks!
Family suite room was quite spacious with a big bed room with king size bed, Large LCD TV in both bed room and sitting/ drawing room. Microwave, mini kitchenette. Other Amenities were excellent. Buffet breakfast was ok. But for Veggies limited choice, yet our family enjoyed the stay of 5 days in this hotel.
Nice and comfy bedroom. Room service is delicious. You can use the swimming pool for free if you stay there. Guests fee is only 50AED.
