Room is very noisy. TV quality is not good, most of the channels not working. Table electricity plugs not working when you turn of all lights to sleep. So you cannot charge your mobile while you are sleeping. Clean and enough big room, comfortable bed, stable wifi, good breakfast

Hotel is located centrally in Dubai just behind the Mall of the Emirates. Transport - metro, bus, taxi are easily available. Staff are courteous and patient in resolution of queries of all whether they are hotel guests or not. Awesome sport bar and an even better music bar to let your adrenaline flow in the evening. Buffet of hotel is good and of various cuisines serving multiple courses. Hotel rooms are very decent. Recommended for any type of visitors - tourist, family, professional etc.

Beds are far to small but rooms are clean as is the bathroom. Lacks suitable evening entertainment, smoking permitted in and around the premises including bedrooms so odour left from previous guest. However staff very helpful and friendly. Food ok, breakfast remained the same for the 8 days during my stay. Good location situated next to the Emirates mall and metro.

Very poor customer care services

In case you need a taxi, you have to wave one yourself, no one is willing to do it even though I requested them to stop a taxi.

The room is furnished with old furniture and the kettle (white) provided in my room was filthy and brownish.

Tooth brush and tooth paste are not provided by the hotel.

The hotel food leaves much to desire for.

The location of the hotel seems to be unsafe with not much going on around. There were obscene pictures of women and girls lying on the pavement just a few steps from the hotel.

Even the malls are quite far from the hotel except Burjuman Mall.

Room is clean and bed comfy. Friendly staffs. Good enough for 2 person. Buffet lunch and friday brunch must try. The Huddle Sports bar nice to chill. Maxx music bar is good with ladies night on Wednesday. Gym is ok. Pool too crowded like laundromat. Mall of Emirates just in front of hotel. Overall nice stay.

I got a room at a discount, so maybe that may explain for the low-scale facilities that were in the room. The fridge, shower room, etc were very old. Wasn't impressed, especially because it is located in a good spot, so I expected more.

The hotel location is good, close to the MOE. The reception staff are professional and efficient. However, room is not good at all, no amenities, cheapest soap in dispensers, shower water pressure is so weak, Pillows which looks like pillows but flat as a sheet. and on top of that I was located in a room that is next to construction; 6:00am banging in my room. Beside the thin walls that I could hear the sounds/ voices of residents from rooms next to me. It was too late to change as I was there only for one night. Though I have to say that the room was clean.

Good quality service, staff is very cooperative and ready to help.

Lot of options in the breakfast also the taste is superb.

There is also a ATM inside the hotel.

Nice hotel. Meals, room, place, the staff, everything was very good and comfortable. I stayed there with my daughter in January,2017. We enjoyed our stay and liked the price. I plan to come again very soon.

Nice and clean. No guest policy though. Small rooms good for singles or couples. Take room a little up as you might end up waking at 3AM when their club closes and the clubber come out chanting, laughing etc.

The most noisest hotel and expensive for what you get!
I live in hotels and I must admit this is a mistake for me.
House keeping do a good job but apart from that the club is so loud that it keeps you awake even on the 14th floor.
Kids play football in the corridor at 6:30am.
The hotel clubs are also full of escorts.
I won’t rent here again.

I enjoyed my stay here in Citymax, the hotel has a great view of the Burj Al Arab and the MOE. The room is clean, roomy, and comfortable. In addition, Razzak, the cleaning staff, was charming and friendly. Razzak knew my birthday and asked everyday if there is anything I need.

The hotel is new and clean. The staff are very good, the rooms decent value for the price. The food however, is pretty disgusting and I'd suggest they try much harder. If you're here, go to the mall to eat. Hotel is worth it and a good location.

Dirty and cheap in every way possible. I have stayed in many hotels in Dubai, and this by far the worst. I will not stay again ever, even if for free. Management of the hotel know nothing about hospitality and are very mean

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL. THEY DON T SAY IT ON THEIR WEBSITE OR ANY OF THEIR PAGES ON BOOKING WEBSITES. THEY WILL NEVER TELL IT TO YOU WHEN YOU BOOK ON THE PHONE. BUT ONCE YOU ARRIVE AND YOU CHECK IN THEY LET YOU KNOW THAT NO VISITOR ARE ALLOWED IN YOUR ROOM. EVEN SOMEBODY OF THE SAME GENDER AS YOU. NO FRIEND. NOTHING. IT WILL RUIN YOUR VACATION. AND THIS IS NOT A DUBAI LAW. THIS IS CITYMAX NON SENSE POLICY. ALSO IT S REALLY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT IS, AND THE STAFF HAS LITTLE OR NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

Nice place, although rooms are too small. It's clean and have nice price. The are two bars also inside, one pub with big screens displaying sports, fantastic cuisine and a long list of beers, yet another one for late night usually hosting rock bands, also serving drafts.

It's clean and in a great location for getting out to see Dubai. Straight out of the door you can get to the Mall of the Emirates which is a good starting point for all major bus tours around the area. There is a mini mart directly opposite with anything you may need and there are some nice local places to eat too.

Affordable, but not the best value for money.
Out of the hotels nearby, it had the best rates over the Christmas holiday, but the value seems a bit low. The hotel room is a lot smaller than rooms you can pay just a little more for, and the thermostat won't go below 22° C. If you can tough it out to save a couple bucks, this is the place for you.
