It is ok but I think the staff can improve in a few things like smile and they can be a bit slow. In my opinion go to a different hospital.

‪It’s amazing among all the private hospitals in Dubai the top ranked garbage hospital “American hospital”.

My little sister health condition getting worse and they keep hanging up on me. She can’t even breath which is a serious condition. I called up to get details from the physician but hey they keep hanging up on me ! Bravo bravo!

The thing is if you want to get all the attention,throw money at them then you get their door wide open to accept you. Disgraceful hospital beyond shocked.

Came in for emergency. Overall experience lasted nearly 4 hours. No sense of time management. There was one doc running around solving several cases like it was a video game. Nurses kept asking us to wait for another 5 mins. And this lasted another hour. No apologies no remorse. Just plain incompetence. What a disgrace to the very concept of customer service.

We will never visit again.

Please find an other hospital to go!!
So many things went wrong with my visit. Long waiting time. My 5+ hours visit in emergency I talked with the Doctor less than 10min together and in the end he even gave me wrong information.
Only good things was good nurse who actually took good care of me. Thank you for that!

If you want to have the best experience, visit American Hospital else there are many other options in Dubai. Also, it is not the most expensive and is unbelievable "Value for Money".

If you want to be treated rudely from receptionists , go to the American hospital. I spent 20 mins explaining to receptionists my concern and hell no - they think they don’t do mistakes. abc customer service is taking feedback , people. I hope this can be taken into consideration when they hire staff. Honestly, I now feel it’s awkward going there for appointments after we almost had a fight. Can’t believe hospital can lose patients not because of medical staff but because of receptionists. I think I should try Sulaiman al Habib, my friends went there - they have valet and the receptionists are so sweet.

very bad eye doctor Dr Muaaz Tarabichi. I have a lot of nucus i the nose and o the back of the nose, so, i saw him. he said this a pyschological problem. ????? his behavior is also arrogant. i do not recommend to see him. just waste time and money.

I took a full well man package and got my reports. The service is over charged and certainly NO value for money. Secondly, they took plenty scans of my back but never spotted scoliosis. A small doctor in Italy spotted it!! I guess they work like machine and don't think of anything other than what they are paid to look for.
Maybe nice hospital but i would opt for other reasonable once.

We spent 10minutes to locate the emergency room as there are no signs in every OPD entrances to where there emergency located. When we arrived, it's like a haunted ER. No enough lights outside and guess what, you need to take your own wheelchair(self-service)! The guard doesn't care as if he was not on duty. Not helping at all. As you entered the room, those people on the reception acting as if they're racist. They just care if you're an American or whatever, really?! Bloody hell! Receptionist doesn't explain further about the insurance coverage and just tell you, "oh you're not covered". Only to find out, I am! Even the nurses feels like they don't want to work there. Not accommodating! I am a nurse and knows how the emergency room works. Shame. Customer service is x x x x x. Not a friendly environment 😐

Disgusting hospital, have waited for the Mr Doctor Mohammed adnan for more than 85 minute and when I decide to leave and cancel my appointment, they started to convince me to wait 5 minute more!! Really shameless.

Doctors very knowledgeable, Great staff, state of the art equipment, and appointments are tried very hard to fit you in. Work in Iraq, it was worth the trip and expenses to have a piece of mind just cause I am not going to the USA for the same and wait on referrals.

We had an emergency. Staff were very swift to action. I was calmed down. We were given refreshments while the patient was being attended to. The hospital stay was very comfortable. Very kind and nice nurses. Still the best hospital I have been in Dubai.

During a visit November 2016 I crashed riding in the desert fell and broke my collar bone badly requiring surgery and hardware. From the ER check in all Dr's and nurses involved were fantastic. I can recommend them by all means.

My wife was having her annual mammography and after 2 days was called back to follow up with an Ultra sound first thing the next morning with out proper explanation. Naturally she gets there this morning to find out that she is not scheduled for an ultra sound and her status is pending + her doctor is not working that day so no one knows whats going on. Now when it comes to additional tests Dubai's hospitals are famous for requesting useless tests to claim as much as they can from the insurance but in this case we will be restless until after the weekend which is 3 days from now waiting to see the doctor and get a proper explanation. Thank you American Hospital for destroying 3 days of our live's and charging us for it. God bless and I hope my post will help you avoid having a weekend like mine.

If your checking up for something serious or just a regular check up , I highly recommend avoiding this insensitive arrogant Institution called (The American Hospital)
