One of the worst experience we had mediclinic city hospital. We wait more than 2 hours to just see the doctor, when we see the doctor she gave us panadol pain killer. We ask her to give some injection or any other threatment, she said no need. And ofcourse our patient not get well. Even the receptionists are with attitude. One of the british man( receptionist) tried to argue with me and I remind him he is reception attendant, And he is there for my needs. And we realise all of the patients facing same problems. We called customer center to complain. And She said; we apologise what happened, and we will give you best service next time. We want to see you again..
you decide now, is it hospital or sales office ?

An amazing with wonderful doctors, nurses and facilities. Both of my children were born here and the experience both times was just fantastic. We have been here for the ER, paediatrics, eye doctors as well as maternity and everything was always just wonderful. I miss having MCH as my local hospital.

Had to rush my Wife to City Hospital Emergency Room. Described issues including fainting to triage nurse and after 1.5 hours a doctor (Dr Nagi) was finally seeing her. He did not exam my wife, did not listen to the symptoms and was just rushing to prescribe some medication, charge and send her home (she was carried in in wheelchair). A pharmacist would have done the same for free and faster. We complained to the administration nurse the next day which was just defending the doctor although she wasn't in the room (or in shift). Pathetic experience. City Hospital is one of the most expensive hospitals in Dubai but this ER is a disgrace for the Mediclinic brand which has some really well run hospital in Switzerland. If you have an emergency - go somewhere else..

I have no any concern with regards to professionalism of doctors, I use this clinic’s services quite often. The only serious con is that you have to wait 1 hour or more sometimes to have a scheduled appointment, especially with gynecologists or vascular surgeons. And all the time the excuse is that the doctor has an operation. I am glad he/she is helping other people but I would also like them to appreciate my time, that’s why people do schedule appointments! By the way, if patient is late for 15 mins, appointment is cancelled. I agree with this policy overall but then why then appointments are delayed for so long? Keep patients waiting for 1 hour and more for a cheduled appointment is not professional

They are unprofessional to a point where they kept me waiting while the employees sorted their point of views about who knows better. This feud was just to prove who knows more than the other regarding my insurance plan, and kept me waiting for over an hour. At the end i wasn’t supposed to pay anything because simply the insurance would pay it anyway!!!!

Poor customer service was made to wait and pretty much ignored until I made my presence felt. Another patient walked in and was attended to immediately. Discrimation for no rhyme or reason. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to this hospital facility.

This is probably the most arrogant and non cooperative elitist hospital in Dubai. I had gone to the emergency to get myself checked with a doctor and obviously was unwell. I had to wait for an hour and a half without any nurse or doctor attending me. People who had come in after me had been called and when I went and checked at the reception, I was shown a list wherein the people who came in after me had been already attended to. When asked, the staff responded by saying that I wasn’t around when they had called me, as if to say you should not even move from your spot and keep waiting for as many hours as they take to call out your name. No compassion was shown towards a sick person which should be the aim of any hospital.

Really a terrible experience and would never want to go back there or recommend it to anybody.

Most expensive, but definitely the most useless and dangerous hospital by far. The inpatient stay is with risk. The Doctors, love to run needless tests as part of a money making exercise. The nursing care is well below par and lacks in all aspects. The hygiene is almost non existent. The rooms are despicable and tardy. The services, like TV are firstly unreliable but generally useless and of no value. The catering is appalling. I have lots more to add, but fingers are tired with all the typing.

One of the best hospitals in Dubai, highly professional Doctors, nurses, i had a very good experience with this hospital, Highly recommended, very good patient care.my baby boy Muhammad RayyanAkram admit this hospital very good staff specially thanks for pedi ward nursess karen shina rubby sunita and picu staff and special thanks for. Dr .fatmia,Dr israr ,Dr bala jee and Dr sunjay Dr marvi i have no word for these people .they came and see my baby .Again i will say thanks for Dr. Bala jee really nice and intellgent Doctor.

Cons
Nursing (1 in 10 are adequate). Facility. Sensitivity. Experience or tha lack of it. Money making. Food. Language/communications. Inpatient. Consistency. Rooms. Parking. Inroom tv.

To summarise. Sort out all your affairs, eg banking. Wills. Loved ones. Because, you never know with this hospital. They will do their utmost to ensure your pain and suffering is increased as opposed to reduced.
They respond back to reviews claiming they care. But never any action or improvement.

Its a joke don't go there, no patient care, nurses are not serious and playing on there phones. Waste of time waiting for unqualified doctors, who should be working in a shisa place not Hospital.
Disgrace to the profession.
Management should either fix it or resign!!

I got approval for blood test on Wednesday but I haven't been informed about it although I called the hospital on Thursday and checked and the answer was you have to wait until you receive message from the hospital ..I called today .Saturday and the lady who answered the phone checked my file and said your approval was ready on Wednesday.. very bad services although the nurse who suppose to seek approval from insurance confirmed to me several times that she will contact me..doctor is good and services are bad

Stay away from this hospital. The doctor's has no experience, and they are unable to provide any solutions in long term. All they want to charge you extravagant amount of money and to your insurance.

I had my right knee meniscus and ACL operation in Dubai Mediclinic Healthcare (Dr Osama), after 1 year of my operation my knee got worst. My suggestion would be (STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL)

To get the correct location of the hospital you shall type City Hospital without 'Mediclinc'

Nice building!
Has few of the best Doctors in Dubai.
Well located with very close metro station.
Very expressive service compare to other hospitals.
ER isn't the best in Dubai, unorganised at some point.
ER long waiting time.
You really need to review the report and the bill just before leaving the hospital as mistakes are very common here. We have been charged twice for the same test!
Parking is hell in this area.

My case was handled very unprofessionally and superficially. Wrong lab tests prescribed obviously gave no results. After a few months I got properly diagnosed and treated in a different structure. I would never use this hospital again even if it was the only one in the city.

Terrible service. Had to travel thru 3 buildings and 4 receptions to find my doctor and at the end to refuse to receive me because I was late. I was in pain and unable to come back again but no one made the effort to help me. No one answered the phone when I tried to call in and ask for assistance and inform I'm late. This is just in line with mediclinic in dubai mall. There if you need emergency appointment, you have to wait for a week! Very disappointed. And still in pain but going to have to search for another hospital now. With a constraint pain, still not resolved.

Mediclinic City Hospital (Healthcare City, Dubai) has become the worst hospital in last few years. I have to wait for 2 hours in emergency when my son was coughing 15-20 times every minute and turning blue. This hospital has totally INHUMAN, ROBOTIC and HEARTLESS support staff with useless management. Although the doctors seems nice, but trapped in a very stingy and under staff atmosphere and cannot deliver the real health care. Charging premium money (600 dhs/consultation) is not at all justified if I have to wait for 2 hours in an emergency, I would rather pay quarter of it in any other hospital to get myself consulted faster.

Pathetic service at the emergency ward. Takes long hours and really bad staff from hell.

I had visited emergency ward 3 times (since this is the hospital I get treatments), each time hoping that it would be better. But here again it's the same old style. Wonder why no one is taking any action or management try to improve this. I saw so many patients struggle there and some people just leave coz they can't wait anymore.

Even my sickness got worse and bp went high waiting there in that horrible place. And finally when the doctors arrive, they don't give any treatment, just may be some pain killer or panadols.

My second son was born here. The doctor was friendly and great Dr.Ibrahim. The stay was for 4days taken excellent care by the nurses and faculty members. Thank you Mediclinic city Hospital.

Delivered my baby in May 2015 at city hospital.
I caught a post-op infection after c section (although this should not have happened in an hospital environment). I was shivering and burning with fever and alarmed the nurses but no one bothered to do any investigation to see what was wrong, they ignored this by saying that it's 'normal' .
On my insistence, they agreed to inform my gynae who had the audacity to call on my mobile and scold me 'for not cooperating with the staff' and that she was extremely tired and sleep deprived caus of the several deliveries she did over the weekend.
I was told that I'm safe to be discharged (was given the usual medicines that need to be taken after c-section and sent home).
5 days after being discharged I had to rush back to city hospital emergency as the infection had worsened by then. That's when they finally took swabs and blood samples to investigate further. Turned out that I had a hard to cure bacterial infection - it took another 5 weeks and several medication to cure.
In short, there was a lot of negligence by the hospital (post-op).

Otherwise Mediclinic has some of the best doctors - especially the paediatricians.
