Foul smell in rooms, no bed sheet change daily, I was made to feel like as if I had been given a favour by letting me stay there. They treat the people as if they are cheaters. No a smiling face in service staff. I would suggest not to stay there if you value yourself
THIS IS A GENUINE AND TRUSTWORTHY REVIEW - sincerely don't book even a single day in this hotel. The staff is very very rude. The rooms are unclean. You won't get hot water in any rooms although they say keep tap open for 5mins.Even if you keep open for 30mins or whole day there is no hot water. I stayed here for 5 Nights 2 Rooms(1Tripple+1Double occ.)@2436 AED and it was like hell. It is not even two star. The swimming pool is very dirty and unhygienic. The Gym is very small and unbreathable. The AC in gym does not work. The breakfast is worst all cold and sloggy stuff, the same two three stale items directly from refrigerator.I had books dinner and was told in last moment they will call me when dinner is ready after keeping me wait till 11pm in night they finally told that dinner cannot be prepare as cook stayed absent, all happens for the good I was saved from having a bad dinner.
It is a hotel inserted in the setting of the Dubai gold souk, well structured and with discreet rooms, although different from European and American standards. The staff are friendly and helpful, in particular the reception girl, who has a splendid smile, even in the moments of greatest influx. The access to the hotel is located in a side street and from many windows you can see the nearby mosque. In the area there are many spice and gold objects shops, as well as typical tourist products. The nearby Al Ras metro stop is very useful for reaching other destinations, without having to rent a car or take a taxi. Breakfast is good by Dubai standards and the lounge is always crowded. The breakfast room staff are also friendly and helpful. The surroundings are picturesque and very fascinating for tourists, and vendors do everything to attract tourists' attention. Those who do not want to buy simply have to refuse firmly. For the rest there are several restaurants, good for the standard of local workers but more discharged than those in more luxurious areas of the city. In the same area there are also some interesting museums. The Hotel is therefore a pleasant place to stay for both tourists and those in Dubai for work.
The hotel's infrastructure is really great. But they need to improve their facilities and service little more. The room service is great. One thing I didn't like that they didn't check regularly if all appliances are working in the room or not, we had to inform them after check in that this things are not working. But then it was fixed. Otherwise great hotel.
The only reason i gave 2 stars is because there was no hot water, bathroom was dusty, no key card provided.
By the sounds of the previous reviews the hotel has been renovated very recently, and hotel guest's can notice that from the unfinished carpet work along the corridors, dusty bathrooms, hot water system not working "yet", so i think in couple of months things might be better maybe !
