Beautiful venue.
If you want to watch the show, avoid security with any inquiries because they are very disrespectful. The sound also cut out during the show. All round (disregarding the security, technical difficulties and expensive drink prices) the vibe is great and they cater for all ie disabled, children, teens and adults. All are welcome and will be entertained.
6/5 stars. Perfect location. Great local wines, family friendly, dog trail running friendly and great vibe to the wine estate.
We did some cheese and wine paring. Patrick was very informative and the wines were very nice.
You have variety to choose from with lovely cheese platters.
Also visited the restaurant only had starters as we wanted something light to eat.
The farms has a picnic area tasting room and restaurant on site. Nice and cool under the trees. The tasting room has aircon which helped today.
We will be back to taste the rest of the wine.
Fantastic property with an unbeatable view of Cape Town. The staff are beyond incredible and the food is cooked to perfection. We had all 3 meals of the day there. The rooms are also neat and well spread out over the estate.
We came here for wine tasting and it is really nice. On our tour, it was a short trip, so sommelier did not change glasses and we had to use one glass for 4 different type wine. But in general, place is nice and they have really good wines with a very good prices.
Heaven on Earth. One of South Africa's highlights - wine farms - and Zevenwacht is definitely worth the visit. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L and the wine, a testimony - truly exquisite. You can almost taste the passion that goes behind making this wine - by the taste, a beautiful passion those wine makers, make. A must see.
Beautiful yet very disappointing. We were studiously ignored by the few staff that were to be seen. I'm not sure if there's a special procedure to follow or secret sign one gives to receive service.
There were copious signs everywhere forbidding dogs, entry, photographs, food, drinks. I'm sure I missed a few. Perhaps there were ones that forbade urinating on the porch, driving over guests in the parking lot, drilling holes in the wall with your own tools, who knows
Lovely setting. Non-existent service. Signs everywhere that basically say give us money or p*ss off.
We left. Won't be back soon.
A little piece of Eden. The wine, accommodation, views and restaurant are great!
Very good wines. Nice cheese platter
Beautiful setting but I'm not wild about their conference facility.
Stunning Estate. The Voet of the Wine Route passes through this picturesque venue.
I think a R160 for a buffet breakfast is a bit steep. And there is no other menu options for breakfast, so it is go big, or go home. The coffee can improve.
Great setting, but wine served outside with picnics are charged at restaurant prices.
The wine, cheese and chocolate pairing was excellent. The views from the estate conference and Restaurant are breathtaking. The only thing lacking was the wifi signal which was virtually non existent.
Lovely setting for late lunch and dessert cheese cake that makes your tastebuds crave for more and the Tin Cup is pure happiness in a bottle
This place is pretty spectacular. On arrival, you get a view of the restaurant from across the lake. The small windy roads have a unique charm to them. The restaurant has good food (if only the chef learned that duck should not be chewy like rubber, and medium rare does not mean medium well). Service at the restaurant is fantastic.
Parking is adequate. There does not seem to be much in the way of lighting on the property. Drive carefully in the dark.
