Great stay. Pillows were the only downside. Rafeeq is the most personable guy I have ever met. Will stay here again given the chance.

Very clean, neat and tidy. Everything you need under one roof. The booking agency's service not very good and security staff at Icon did not seem to care that they gave me the wrong parking information.

Overall it was great. Size was huge, nice place and great location. Staff was wonderful.

    One star down for..
Only down side was amount of noise. I was on the 7th floor and heard so much street noise of cars honking and yelling. Other nights someone was having a party either same floor or across the way in building across. All the noise bleeds through the thin front door and the bedroom right next to it.

Second star down is it was summer and the AC was broken and they said they would fix it but it never was fixed. So coming home some times was hot and unable to quickly cool down.

There is not much luxury about these apartments. It’s really a lucky draw if you book because you don’t know what you will get. Unless you are lucky enough to get a studio. I had to change my first room because there was such a bad smell of rotten milk. The second room was better but had no internet and no washing machine. Also the pool was smelling very bad due to a drought and the fact that they just left the old water to rot. Stunning building though.

Nice clean apartments with great security. Located right in the city with easy access to sights of Cape Town in any direction. We had secure parking too which was a big bonus.

Very nice self service living; perfect for business travelers on extensive assignments or a family with children.

The apartments are absolutely beautiful. Their service is always on point. They're always willing to help. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens are stunning. The beds are very comfy. Wow! You'll never want to go back to your bed again. The sunsets and sunrises are lovely! They're overwhelming too. When I went there, I slept in a room where I could see Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. I had the most beautiful views in the morning. It was very calming to wake up to those sunrises. In the lounge, the coaches felt as if you were sitting marshmallows! I recommend these apartments to anyone who goes to Cape Town. The only thing is that it's self accommodation but that's not a problem because there's a supermarket just outside.

Still here for the next week with my wife and her family. Friendly staff, people going out of their way to make you comfortable. Building is quite secure and many amenities within walking distance. I would recommend this place to any and everyone

Nice modern and large appartement and walking distance to the city centre. The kitchen was large but there were little things to cook with (No knifes, 2 plates only). Bed was good, shower was Nice and warm, only the water didnt drain away. Big downside is dat the walls apear to be made of paper you can literally hear every word, noise or toiletflush from all your neighbours. Since a lot of the appartement are from actual residents theres a lot to hear. Also the housekeeping strangely only made the bed. They didnt stock up on complimentary coffee etc, clean the bathroom or anything.

    Bad and unsafe!!
Our money were stolen in the apartment. There is no monitor or video recorder in the public area of the apartment.
Both of the email and the service personnel at front desk told us that there won't be any house keeping service on Sundays. Therefore, we expected that there won't be anyone enter our room on Sunday. After we came back in the evening, we found that our US dollars were stolen and our room was cleaned. We filled-out many forms, described the details and agreed that they can contact with the police. But the manager always want to shirk the responsibility. They even showed us the new rules and told us that the house keeping service is provided everyday.
This is unacceptable that they changed the rules just after we sent the report! That also made us scared because we feel that we were not safe. The others might come into our room anytime and they won't take any responsibility.
We sent the report but didn't receive any complete formal results after a week (till now), even if I asked the front desk everyday. We know that we should keep our stuffs safe anytime. But this is a really bad experience! Not only our money were stolen, they also lie to us. We felt very sad about this!
**For your safety, don't live here! We're sure that you can find a better place to stay in Cape Town.

My friend's money was stolen. The money was in the luggage. We were not aware of house keeping in the weekends(they told us in mail when we booked there was no house keeping on the weekends ), so we did not put the money in the safe. Paper work was done at the front desk, but they had a passive attitude to investigating about the incident. They changed the housekeeping schedule (housekeeping everyday), but did not tell us beforehand, they told us the old regulations when we checked in. We had a sad experience.

Check in is smooth, staff were really friendly.

Studio room and toiler is clean. No washing machine. Aircon is noisy. Only 1 small tube of shampoo and 1 small tube body wash. Hot water and water pressure is good. Pillows are too soft for me. Free unlimited WiFi that is fast. Cleaning lady tried to enter with her own keys at 10am when we are checking out at 11am. Curtain cannot close fully.

Building design is not good. At least 14 floors in a column, with doors facing each other (akin to two facing pages of a book). People playing loud music and noise can be heard by everyone. Closing doors slam and echo through the hollow of the building. Pool is very small;great for young kids. Underground parking is free for guests. Lifts are very slow (1 of 3 was out of service).

Location of apartment is in the CBD and close to the metro; many homeless people around, some may bother you in the streets.

1 bedroom apartment. Aircon was not noisy. Door locks were faulty. No washing machine. Bedroom has no aircon (could be stuffy). Living room has aircon unit.

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, centrally located and had a good city view. Pool was nice and long, perfect for doing laps. Information about where to get swimming towels and toilet amenities would have been appreciated.

Would give zero stars if I could. I was with my girlfriend here in the beggining of this month and we were ROBBED from the room safe. Staff was only interested in delaying any action until we checked out of the hotel and to make sure that we didn't report to police. Filled several incident forms that I'm not even sure that were not dumped in the trash the following moment. Googled for this and found that there are several other reports like ours. DO NOT TRUST THEM

The hotel was amazing, however there were certain aspects of it that could be renovated. Also the bedroom being so close to the walkway created some noise.
