Awesome awesome backpackers with a great spirit 😎 It was my first time being at this beauty of a Town and I would go again especially in this backpackers, awesome view to the sea in front of you and the N2 high in the mountains above the backpackers!! 🤗

Loved it and would recommend it to any travellers, campers and tourists.

A hidden gem in incredibly beautiful surroundings. Cheap beer is plentiful, and you get to meet people from all over the world. Good facilities.

Despite being a great spot with a beautiful view, our experience was full of unpleasant moments. Firstly no free wifi after 20 minutes of use. Also, we were required to pay 25R to drink our own wine. As we arrived late, we were helped by the barman, who wasn't really helpful in getting us the room, nor clarifying anything regarding payment or checkout hours, etc. When we told him we were a couple and asked to switch to a double bed tent, he simply said "you guys could move to the other one, but I won't clean it now". Could have been a lot better!

Owners Annie and Alan is just amazing and the hostel is the best location you can wish for . I have stayed there 6 times the last 2 years and the experiance stay awesome . you can even cam there and it's 2 min walk away from the beach although you can see the dolphins swimming in the surf while you are sipping a drink on the hostel's bar deck . great place

Great place. So homey, well cared for and a great vibe thanks to its amazing view of the ocean. Exactly what we needed as a pitstop between a week-long hike!

Nice staff, amazing views. This hostel must have been amazing ten or fifteen years ago. Time has taken it's toll and it seems to not have been updated. Spotty internet, no free wifi, no lockers in dorms, a single outlet for four people. Sadly can't recommend despite the amazing location.

First time we stayed there we took one of the private rooms and our stay was perfect. A week later on our way back on the last leg of our roadtrip we stayed in the dorms. This was fine until I was woken up by people talking loudly outside the dorm room at 2:30am. While asking them to keep it down I realized that it was the barman, another employee and a guest. These employees didn't even stay in the dorm but they walked through the dorm to get to the balcony where I had to ask them to keep quiet.

Great views, wonderful staff. There were no curtains or blinds in our room and the door was glass as well. We had to cover the door and window on our own. That was a bit off putting. The backpackers really need to complete the double room in Annie's apart before letting it out again.

We stayed in the second floor dorm room and it was like having our own house with a balcony over looking the beach. I would say this is the best place to stay in wilderness. The staff is relaxed, effective and considerate.
The bar is a good hang out where you can meet some good, genuine people. Lekker place. Definitely staying there again.
