We enjoy this cafe. It's casual and the food is great at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Views of Kalk Bay. It is noisy being on the busy main road with taxis, buses and bikes gluing pass. Great menu choices with daily specials on their board. We enjoyed their waffles with banana and chocolate- and best of all they topped it with fresh strawberries and a dollop of ice cream.

Small menu but delicious food. We kept the restaurant open as the only table for dinner on a Tuesday so the service was a bit over it. Coffee is great and cheap at R15 before 8.30!

Lekker has an enviable position on the Kalk Bay main road offering views of the sea and the harbour. Long tables are positioned across the width of the restaurant in order to make the most of the view. Whilst the waitrons were very amateurish and unskilled, the food was both top notch and reasonably priced. Although it aims to present South African favourites the selection is a bit wider. We had both excellent steak and scrumptious pork belly with Fennel crackling. This is one of the few places that enhance a good steak with mushrooms instead of dousing it with cream. They offer a range of enticing salads- great for summer.
