Relaxed atmosphere, great food, excellent service!

We came here for dinner on an out-of-season Saturday night.

The restaurant has a charming and very relaxed atmosphere. The host (Wanda) provided excellent service throughout the evening. It's not everyday you get service this good from the owner herself.
She even got her son to walk with us back to the hotel to ensure we don't get lost!

The menu changes from day to day depending on availability of ingredients. But includes starters (soup, seafood) and mains with mostly seafood, but also other meat dishes or any combination you like.

The line fish is the star of the show however. Caught daily by the owner's husband, it is fresh, grilled to perfection and served with freshly baked bread, rice/fries, seasonal vegetables and the most amazing caramelised sweet potato!

A great experience in this small and sleepy seaside village!

    Some tips:
Drop ins are welcome, but the owner prefer if you book ahead. Tables fill up quickly during peak season.

No wine are sold at the restaurant. You are welcome to bring your own at no extra fee.

    Only payment method is cash.

The restaurant is easy walking distance from most hotels in Arniston, but there are no street lights, so it can be very dark when walking back. Bring a flashlight or alternatively go by car.
