It has so much potential
Just so sorry the service is non existent and some of the cheese really doesn’t taste nice
I like the variety of the Dutch products but it is not a very friendly welcoming ambiance and I have been there many times.

Lots of space, quiet and great for kids as there are loads of things for them to do. Food it good and the little shop inside gives very detailed advice on buying cheese and allows you to sample their delicious range. There are also a large amount of mountain bike trails that start here. Just pay inside and go for a ride of your skill level and come back to a delicious meal. It's a winner.

Spent a morning there charging phones etc when Magaliesburg had no power. Loved the shop, food and the cheese which I took home. Waiter went out of his way to assist.

We ordered the food in the pic. R160.

Waiter couldn't tell us what cheeses there were, the olives were dodgy and the lettuce under the cheese was brown.

The house wine is questionable.

They produce sweetmilk cheese (Gouda) here and sell various varieties. They have lots of imported Dutch goods. Do have lunch or breakfast while looking or over the lush green fields!

Expected more of the van Gaalen farm, but we also were very disappointed with the menu and the services. First time ever for us that a restaurant does not serve chips at all. Not even with their croquettes. This place in over rated and over charged. Will not go back to the fellow Dutch.

Utterly disappointed with the service. Waited an hour for a toasted sandwich.Was overcharged and told by waiter she accidentally added on another tables order! Limited menu and overpriced.
Won't be going back!
