“Bo blink en onder stink!” Venue beautiful enough. Overnight accommodation far below standard. TERRIBLY dirty - bathroom, kitchen, bed linen, EVERYTHING!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Such a disappointment. Cleaning staff very unhelpful and inadequate. Water glasses at ceremony wasn’t cleaned properly - there was fish moths in it !!! Management has a few problems to sort out. One of them to respect their guests enough to supply them clean accommodation.

As the saying goes "Nice from far, but far from nice". The venue is beautiful with rolling green gradens and installations, but requires some maintenance when it comes to the accomodation. Some rooms were leaking water while it was raining and others smelled damp and lacked in cleanliness in some instances. The venue is unfortunately poorly managed in my experience with staff lacking proper hospitality training and etiquette and failing to fulfill basic wedding needs and requests.

I used the ballroom venue on 10 Dec 2017.It is the best wedding venue. The best decision that i made was to get married at makiti. The decor was out of this world, the food was nice, staff was professional. Thank you Makiti for delivering on your promise. My wedding was better than I had imagined. All my guest are still talking about the organisation and beauty of the venue. I will recommend you anytime. Keep up the good work guys :) It was totally worth it.

Best place to get married. My wedding was on the 5th of November and everything was on point. Everybody worked so hard to make my wedding "The Perfect Wedding". Thank you for creating memories me and my husband will cherish forever.

Got married at this amazing venue on 24th November 2013 and have since then, often attended many other loved ones weddings here. Beautiful and tranquil landscapes. Friendly and professional staff all round. Nothing was too much for them to accommodate, not even planning and implementing all the detail for our dream wedding, in the space of a 7 week period. Couldn't have done it without them. Awesome food and accommodation. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone wanting to create some unforgettable memories.

We had a booking for lunch on 13 May 2017. On arrival nobody knew about the pre booking that has been made. We stood and waited for somebody to assist us to be seated. The staff were looking at each other as if they don't know what to do. Eventually somebody said we must sit outside and it was freezing cold. My first impression was that they are VERY UNORGANIZED. The staff needs more training to receive the customers and make them feel welcome. I was very disappointed and will never go there again.

Worst experience ever. Wanted to leave the moment I arrived at the venue. The place is poorly maintained with dingy rooms and poor hygiene. The sponge mattress double bed slept worse than on a hard concrete floor. I found spider webs in every room as well as the hall and dust on the plates and under the beds. The children's play area is situated right next to the rooms with a jumping castle being inflated right at the bathroom window making an enormous noise the whole day. It would seem as if the venue didn't have enough space to construct proper accomodation, restaurant or play area for the kids. You are not informed of anything upfront and gave to guess or ask for something as stupid as a glass, teaspoon or TV remote. For what you are expected to spend at this venue you will be sadly disappointed. I would not ever want to visit this place again😠

Our family recently stayed in 7 different units over a period of 2 nights. There were cockroach, fishmoth and spider infestations in several units. There were spider webs and dust under beds and behind furniture. It rained the weekend and 5 of the units had serious leaks. There were many leaks in the restaurant roof as well. According to the family most units were very dirty and dusty and basic room necessities lacked. Two of the units had linnen with old blood stains on. Evidently this venue might not have a proper cleaning, pest control or maintenance plan in place. Structures and gardens looks perfect from the outside but inside the units the reality is far from good. It would have made our family gathering perfect if the service and maintenance at this venue was up to standard. We would not recommend this venue.
