You can accept the Brazen for what it is.a comfortable drinking hole. But my honest review can only be mixed.

The breakfast is simple and actually cooked to perfection. I think their kitchen staff do know how to cook really well and you’ll get really good pub food.

The decor is split into the restuarant and the pub. I really think everything could be given a shocking spring clean and the restuarant seriously needs to be revamped. It looks like the place experienced a hectic fire and then they refurbished but didn’t repaint. They should really fix that part up into a homely Irish pub feel.

Definitely go there for a drink or breakfast or Friday afternoon hooligan time. And my wife says it’s the first place in a long time to get her eggs just perfect!

Very good food and great service. One of the only places where you can still get a Guinness draught. The food is a bit pricey, but it is worth it.

Decent pub. Well priced with good food, but don't expect luxury - it can be a mission just to get salt/pepper or sauces, for example.

    STOUT ON TAP!

They have excellent snacks and meals, a variety of platters, perfect for an evening get together with friends, reasonable prices and great food.

They have three sections where you can sit, indoors, outdoors, and a more private (for birthdays and reservations) section that can be booked in advance.

Good food, good atmosphere, great specials from time to time and Guiness on tap. Staff are always friendly and quiz nights are usually a hoot with the quick witted quiz masters.

Special brandy is nice with the food but the waiter was as friendly as a bulldog.

In short, if you want a drink – no problem, if you’re hungry – you will be much better off going to McD drive through, or even sit in!!
The service was poor but at least friendly.
The drinks were OK thankfully because they only needed to poor it into a glass.
The food was disgusting, my wife was feeling nauseated after she had the grilled pork chops. I had a good fight with a very chewy and sinewy piece of meat in a Willow burger, which I decided to finish as I was really hungry.
The management was absent – after complaining about the food by the waiter, who conveyed my disgust to the manager, he/she was shining in his/her absence. Apparently unfazed by disgusted customers!

Had fun at the quiz night. A tad expensive compared to similar establishments. Great atmosphere and good service.

I went there for the Monday quiz night. We were 6 people and were seated on a very small table and when asked to move to a larger table they said that they were booked full. I also booked for that night, surely they could have made an exception. The waiter we had must have been either a trainee or generally not good at their job. We ordered a bottle of red wine. When he poured the wine he messed on my hand. Instead of running to get a cloth to clean up the mess, he continued to pour the wine only to mess on my friend's blazer. Worst of all, the wine came to the table hot! It was undrinkable! I asked him to clean the mess and bring an ice bucket for the extremely hot wine that we were served. We waited for the cloth and the ice bucket which took longer than 10 minutes to get to us. My friend was forced to go and wash her blazer in the bathroom. Upon her return the wine had still not been cleaned up and we were all waiting for the ice bucket. This was at 6PM, the quiz started at 7:30PM. We cam early so that we could eat before the quiz. We put our order in at 6:30PM, before the rush came in. The food arrived at 7:15PM. Unfortunately, my food had not arrived. It only came at 7:45PM, after my friends had finished their meal and the quiz had started. The food wasn't even worth the wait. Our waiter didn't even write our order down! He had forgotten to place my order. I was unimpressed with the service we got. I understand it was quiz night and that it gets busy, but that doesn't explain the waiter's terrible service and the delay in food that was ordered well before the quiz started and the restaurant filled up!

With staff that always make you feel welcome. Have to be noted that they have great prices for excellent food and they are very generous on the quantity of food served too. If your are looking for a relaxing day there is a beautiful spot down stairs to sit with a two large fire pits to keep you warm.. Or if it's a party vibe u seek, the main area has live music, quiz nights and sports on TV. One of my favourite places to stop.
