We have only been here in the private section upstairs for a business dinner and it was still amazing with great food and wine with great service ! Would definately reccomend the upstairs section for large groups and events !

Amazing food, amazing staff and an incredible experience overall. Every dish is prepared with the utmost care.
Booking is necessary as it is a very popular place and dress code is probably mor eon the smart casual side.
We experienced Cynthia's on a quiet evening, but would love to see how they operate on a busier night.response / report this review -

My father and brother in law expressed their dissatisfaction regarding their steaks as they tasted off, they were tough, stringy and sinewy. Someone came to the table and said that there was a bad batch of steaks. However, they did not replace the steaks nor did they remove the steaks from the bill.
My father has been ill all night. He has been vomiting and has diarrhea.
Further, the service was terrible. We waited over 30 minutes to receive our dessert. And there was not one smile on our waitress’ face.response / report this review -

Lovely decor with old classic style. Very good menu and the food was awesome. Good wine list, with some cheaper options and a good selection of some special wines.
Ample free secure parking available, but this is not easy to see/find when arriving at night (it is behind the restaurant).response / report this review -

Brilliant service. Staff expertly trained to attend to your ever need. Waiter available at all times. If you look up there's your waitron to attend to your every need. The food is very well priced and for top quality. Alcohol is very pricey but well worth the service your receiving. I was absolutely blown away with the attention to detail.

Cynthia's is absolutely one of my favourite restaurants in Pretoria. Great range of food to choose from, great service and very reasonable prices too! Gave us a special dessert for our anniversary as well.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice and absolutely loved both experiences. It has become our favourite date night place! The food is beyond incredible and the service is wonderful. The decor is beautiful and elegant.
