We regularly visit Otterlake (5 +- years)
A unique ambiance shared with original Staff and Owners over the years
We are always made thoroughly welcome
and complimented with excellent German quisine
In brief a very easy restaurant to find but very difficult to leave
We always have the feeling of being thoroughly spoiled
Delicious meals

Very enjoyable. Food is good and the menu is not overwhelming. Great family restaurant!! Waiters were very helpful and the service was good. If you like German food Otterlake Restaurant is the place to go. Kids can take their swimming costumes and towels with them as there is a nice swimming pool close to restaurant.

Great vibe.. great food lovely environment. We love this place. After a misunderstanding between the kitchen lady about decaf coffeeand a negative answer from her the rest of the staff as well as the owners wife turned their backs on me and my wife and didn't take the complaint seriously. We were shunned..and asked if we payed the bill.. so we can go we payed already. All I wanted was an excuse from the kitchen lady due to her bad attidude/comment not to be treated in such a manner by all staff, except for our waiter,he gave us great service. Please beware of the barman, and any front end staff as if any service is wrongits the costumers fault

Relaxed atmosphere outside under the trees and in the garden. Hearty food. Go hungry. Old favourites like garlic snails and lovely eisbeins. Catch a local musician.

A very nice venue great atmosphere and friendly staff and staff wize there is no discrimination so you can get service in your own language. We all found this refreshing.

A brilliant little place with the best staff and very clean. I have no idea what some people have in there minds saying anyting else. Sometimes when its always a bad experience everywhere its not the place but the customer.

Quality of food has dropped. Used to be a great place but now it's not worth the drive for sticky tables. Waiters don't listen properly and are seriously lack training on their menu.

What a gem!!! Authentic German food at its best, great place for a party or on a Sunday to wind down and relax, if it is during the week of weekend, you are sure to meet interesting folks and have a great time relaxing or partying. Oh, be sure to ask for one of the HOTTTT peanuts and put the toilet paper in the freezer! What a find!

A lovely cosy restaurant. Good food priced very well. Definitely recommend the Otterlake for a good time.
