Tasty cakes, good tea & relaxed atmosphere. The shop & artwork are also interesting.
I enjoyed both my waffle & my lemon meringue, while the savoury muffins & scones looked amazing & quite substantial. The quotes on the place mats help make it relaxed, but the inside tables are a bit stuffy. Better ventilation would be preferable.response / report this review -

I felt that the breakfast menu was very limited, there could be more choice and the mince on toast which my husband ordered, was on bread and not on toast - a bit disappointing, considering the price! We enjoyed that opening time was early and also the shop was amazing.

Excellent, came on a recommendation. My feeling outside should advertise you as eating and "coffe shop" more clearly. If we didnt know to come there we might have driven past.

Don't think you'll pop in here for a quick 15mins look around. I lose myself in all these beautiful gifts and decor items, paintings. Absolutely beautiful with a cute coffee shop for the men.

After walking to the Point and then climbing the Lighthouse, we took our grandsons here for lunch. "order what you like" we said! Cheese toasties, chips and milkshakes pleased boys of 8 and 12. The coffee is good, as was our 'adult' food - fish and chips. The decor is pleasant and the gift shop very well stocked. Altogether a good experience.

Huge slices of cake. Huge! Coffee's kind of alright. There are no windows though, just fluorescent lights, which is a bit disturbing But they make up for that with the cake portions.

Pity they only open at 9am, great breakfasts, coffees, cakes & Erdinger Beer. The never ending amazing gift shop makes up for the slow service. "Moer koffie with tuisgebakte rusk" is our favourite. Don't miss the extended upstairs area with new conference meeting room. Hearty meals in a cosy and homely vibe.
