Lovely relaxed vibe. It is a great hangout spot for the student crowd. They have nice pizzas and an awesome beer tower. I love the outside courtyard feel. If you are looking for a quiet sophisticated sit down dinner this is not the place.

This is our go-to place for post-work social gatherings. Really friendly, laid-back service and good food for a reasonable price. The menu changes frequently, but there's always a good range of mains - recently I've enjoyed the mushroom and chicken pasta, and the falafel wrap. The pizzas are always tasty and good for sharing. I always find myself wishing they had proper hot sauce or peri-peri, though!

Wonderful atmosphere under the trees and fairy lights. Good food and wine selection. The pizza took a bit of time to be served as they where full and only have one pizza oven. Bit worth the wait.

Larger than you think. It is a beautiful venue with delicious food especially the pizza. Its a perfect place for one to arrange an event. I love the vibe. I would urge all to go and visit The Trumprt Tree.

A great little bar-type restaurant that we have had plenty of good times at. Good pizza and good beer, but the claim to fame is their Chicken Strips with Harissa Mayo, definitely try them out.

Nice casual place. A lot of students and service is lacking dedication. Food is okay. Not to hectic like other places in Stellenbosch in terms of crowd. Can get busy later at night over weekends. Drinks are a bit expensive, but the food is priced in the same range as comparable restaurants

Always love my time spent here under the trees. Food is delicious, especially the wood fired pizza. Beer selection is great, and includes a variety of craft beers. Staff are friendly and efficient. Music selection always enjoyable!

Have ordered many incredible items of food on the menu and have always been impressed. The music is tasteful, the ambience always includes customers laughing and being merry. It's well decorated with a retro feel and prices are very reasonable. All of this considered it's my favorite hangout in stellies. Great place for students, young professionals and to bring the folks for a family meal.

Great garden with a very nice vibe. They build fires to keep you warm in the colder months

Had a really good time with some friends at Trumpet Tree when they also had the vintage market there. I would recommend the trio of Vetkoek, three different filled vetkoek, each delicious in its own way.

The food is really good but unfortunately the service is disappointing. No one offers to help when you walk in. Very unhelpful when we tried to find a table.

Watering hole for senior students and others who don't want to go clubbing. Good beer selection and decent tapas. Good atmosphere. Good music.

Beautiful place, great vibe. If you walk down the street, you would not expect to find what is actually inside. Great decor, good food

I really like the vibe of this place. It caters for a younger crowd (late twenties/early thirties). The menu can be a little hit and miss - however it changes from summer to winter with new dishes being introduced so it never gets dull! They have a extremely affordable house wine that is not too bad. The menu usually offers a range of dishes from sushi, to pizza, US "world cuisine" and dim sum. They serve some incredible milkshakes that will force you to double your gym time! It is a grwat place to just catch up with a friend over wine or nachos or milkshakes. Love it.

Great place, with under tree seating . Good ambiance. Food is excellent, prices are good as well. An ideal sit and relax venue. Service is good. Parking limited due to popularity.
